OCEANFRONT TOP FLOOR UNIT at A Place at the Beach, Beautifully Renovated

The views are absolutely stunning at this oceanfront condo at A Place at the Beach! This unit is on the top floor (3rd floor) and is DIRECT OCEAN FRONT with one of the best views on the beach! The unit was completely renovated with granite counter tops throughout (kitchen and bathrooms), floors, and stainless steel appliances.

You will be able to sit and watch the waves roll in up and down the beach from your own private balcony and views are amazing! You are conveniently located right next to the private boardwalk that takes you right to the beach!

The complex features a huge outdoor pool with a 150 ft water slide that is an absolute hit with kids. There is also an indoor pool with a hot tub that was renovated for the 2020 season, as well as another outdoor hot tub. There is an on site tennis court, basketball court, putt-putt, and a fun outdoor playground with a huge courtyard lawn.

There are both gas outdoor grills nearby and charcoal grills on site for your convenience to cook up some delicious meals!

A Place at the Beach III is an oceanfront property and has a private beach access/boardwalk. The complex is arguably one of the the most fun and family friendly on the beach!

Located a 1/4 mile from Fort Macon. Convenient to Morehead City (5 mins), Beaufort (10 mins), the NC Aquarium (15 mins), Shackleford Banks, and Cape Lookout. The Oceanna Fishing Pier and Amos Mosquitos restaurant are a couple mins away. There are many things to explore in the area, although you will find everything you need for a fun family vacation right on the property and will probably never want to leave.

This unit is on the 3rd story. There is an elevator and carts to assist with loading and unloading luggage. There is both a washer and dryer inside the unit. Linens are included; Bed sheets and one bath towel set per guest. Feel free to bring any additional you feel you may need.

Beautiful oceanfront view and had everything we needed for our stay. Easy access to beach. We checked out pickleball equipment and enjoyed a quick 9 holes of mini golf on the property.

Not as great as it could have been

We do a lot of VRBO properties and it doesn’t take much to make us happy. A pack of plastic hangers instead of broken wire ones only cost a dollar at Walmart. A non moldy shower curtain is cheep and should be replaced often. Hand soap for bathrooms and more than 1 roll of toilet paper would be convenient when you just arrive and can’t get to a store immediately. I would have paid 10 more for decent bath towels too! Those were terrible. And I can’t imagine 2 new lightbulbs in the master bedroom would be a big deal to replace. As another renter stated- the screen doors are rusted open and the front door is hard to latch. I would agree. I took pictures of the dangerous broken chair and lamp - just decorative part broken-to ensure we didn’t get charged for those. The view was nice, I will say that. And that beach is wonderful. But I didn’t look forward to coming back inside at the end of the day to the disgusting shower and tv that you can only see in one of the chairs. We love Atlantic Beach and have been coming here for 20 years, but we will not be staying in this condo again.oh! And I almost forgot to mention- only one source of water can be used at the same time! Whatever you do, don’t try to wash dishes while someone is in the shower

While the price was acceptable, the property can use a little TLC. kitchen faucet about to fall off No lite under microwave Screen door not usable Ceiling fan pulls are missing An extra TV in MBR would be awesome Dimmer on bar light Entry door needs a new lockset Very simple fixes, and funny thing is most them are the same from first visit, with no upgrades. LOVE this condo and the amenities of APB.... just needs a little attention to detail.

Fun family beach week!!

This is the 2nd year we have used this unit and the one below, same owners. We always have spacious accommodations for the whole family. The owners are friendly and quick to respond to texts. The property is perfect for families!

The filter on the AC unit was so dirty. No way it had been changed in a while. The temp would not get below 75. Called for service. Finally had the Unit recharged. Very little pots or pans ,we did voice our concern and they brought a new set. Couldnt use the slide door coming out from the bedroom. We had very little internet or WIFI. Not that we were in the room a lot.

April 2024 stay at Atlantic Beach

There are so many positives about this property! The view is fantastic, you can see the dolphins in the water from the balcony. The location is excellent, just a short walk down the stairwell to the beach access boardwalk (also an elevator down the hallway if needed). The unit is well maintained and lovely with a nice kitchen and ample living area to spread out and contains a dishwasher and washer/dryer. The pool is gorgeous and equipped with a water slide which is great fun for children and adults alike! There are also grills and tables for public use outdoors as well as an indoor pool. Everything was as expected, and we would most definitely stay here again.
