2-ACRE WOODED CHARMING SPACIOUS FARMHOUSE in CEDAR PARK-next to NORTHWEST AUSTIN
Invite your family and friends to our newly renovated farmhouse, set within a 2-acre wooded property adjacent to Northwest Austin. The trees provide a perfect spot for relaxing on our swings, and the flat land is ideal for games such as basketball, badminton, volleyball, tag, or hide and seek. You can even set up your own bounce house. Savor the crisp air with your loved ones on our expansive in-ground deck, which boasts built-in benches. There is an outdoor grill, a front porch, a ping pong table, and foosball tables. For a cozy evening, gather around the fire pit with chairs for marshmallow roasting. Brushy Creek Lake Park and Sport Park are a short five-minute journey away, accessible via bike trails from the property. Avery Ranch Golf Course is equally close by. Downtown Austin lies 20 miles away. Our garage is equipped with an EV charger, and a private airport is conveniently located nearby.
The location was perfect for our solar eclipse viewing & there was plenty of space for our family of 7. There were some minor maintenance issues & not enough cups & glasses for a large group. Overall, it was a good stay.
Area was beautiful, we saw several deer in the morning.
Things to improve:
1)Better explanation of turning on fan in master bedroom. We thought the remote was just for the air conditioner.
2) The light flickered constantly in the bedroom with the 2 bunkbeds.
3) Decaf coffee for the Keurig would be nice to include.
4) Original request was to accommodate 10 people. Luckily 4 canceled
Everyone loved the foosball, air hockey, ping pong and basketball games. Large open living space, kitchen and bedrooms. Quiet neighborhood with deer and beautiful homes on acreage. And a rental resort style pool in the same area. Will definitely rent this again when large family visits again.
Clean and cozy home. We had issues with heater, not being familiar with the new Nest thermostats. The owner was kind enough to take our call at midnight in order to get it working.
The kitchen is modern and nice, though not completely equipped. (We ended up buying a can opener and leaving it there for future guests). Bring paper plates if you need more than 8 plates/ silverware.
Rooms were comfortable, with lots of blankets.
Great den to lounge around and socialize in.
We came into town for business and stayed for a few nights. It was cozy in the back of a neighborhood. The kitchen was nice and we had everything we needed in the home.
