We are surrounded by neighbors so we would greatly appreciate if you could keep the noise down past 11 pm with loud music or disturbances. No parties.
Turn off all lights and tv when leaving the house. No shoes inside the house. However, house slippers are fine.
No smoking, vaping, or use of marijuana at anytime anywhere inside the house (The patio is the only designated smoking area) No eating in the bedrooms

Served its purpose. Home is in considerable disrepair. Rodent activity in attic made it difficult to sleep. Master toilet ran constantly. All bedrooms upstairs.

My partner and I attended a convention at Kalahari which was only a few minutes away, so the location was perfect. There were a few minor issues (very squeaky ceiling fan in one BR, pest control could have been a little better, etc), but it was clean, seemed safe and we would have definitely stayed there again.MY BIG COMPLAINT: We were charged a fee (89, I believe) for insurance in case we damaged the property. We didn't want insurance because we knew there would be no property damage, but it was required, so we paid it. Since we left early for our convention and got home late every night, we only needing the property for sleeping. No eating or drinking, no pets, no kids ... nothing whatsoever except coming in late, sleeping, and leaving the next morning.I was shocked a few days later to find an email from the insurance company saying that they had paid a claim on our behalf for 460.13 for 'carpet damage'! There absolutely was no carpet damage. I immediately texted Chinedu, who I believe was the host, and asked for an explanation. She said she "would check on the matter and get back to me with more information" but that was the last I heard from her. I was really expecting to hear from her because that was a serious mistake at best. At worst, filing an insurance claim to get paid for damage that never occurred is insurance fraud. Although no money came out of our pocket, fraudulent claims make everyone's insurance go up. I'm still waiting for an explanation.

The night before check-in, the owner informed us there was a plumbing issue at the property we originally booked. We were offered another house about 15 minutes away, and due to the short notice, we agreed after requesting to see the listing first. Unfortunately, upon arrival, the home did not match the description provided. The listing stated the home had a pull-out sofa, but it did not. The property also needed maintenance—the master bathroom countertops had broken tiles, the house had a very strong paint odor that was overwhelming even after opening the windows, and overall cleanliness was lacking. The beds were uncomfortable with very thin mattresses. Sadly, this was a disappointing experience, and I would not recommend this property or owner.

Great stay despite some bumps in the road. The owner is very responsive and helpful. He responded at midnight above a issues with the house abd did his best to fix it right away. We definitely recommend staying here. The location is perfect for getting around in the Austin metro area. The neighborhood is quiet, but still close enough to the happenings in the area.

Nice and Clean

Nice and clean home with plenty of space with lots of extra towels, bedding, linens, paper towels, toilet paper, soap, body wash, shampoo and conditioner which is a rare and much appreciated!
