Bring your boat, rent a boat, or use our provided stand-up paddle boards to enjoy one of Lake Austin's (constant level lake) best-kept secrets. Just a block from world renowned Lake Austin Spa and Resort, our property is the ideal retreat to escape the hustle and bustle of city life while still having access to downtown Austin just 30 minutes away. The property is just 2 blocks from Lake Austin. Ideal for ladies' retreats, guys trip, family getaways, fishing trips, and more.

Boating:
If bringing your boat, we have plenty of parking in front driveway. (additional parking spot directly to the right of our mailbox).
If renting a boat, JeramysBoatRentals.com (Captain or Non -Captained rentals). Jeramy's is around the corner from us dropping you in the water via the public boat ramp just a couple blocks from the house.
Freedom Boat Club Members have a quick drive to the members only parking area just a few blocks away.

Things to do and see while on the water by boat - Lunch at Ski Shores or County Line BBQ. Take a pic under 360 Bridge (Pennybacker Bridge). If you are up for a longer boat ride, pull up to legendary Hula Hut or the fine dining of Quince Lakehouse.

What to do if you aren't planning on lake activities?
Lounge around our pool and hot tub.
Listen to live music at Steiner Ranch Steakhouse or Rock House Bar and Trailer Park.

This location is super nice. The heated pool was lovely and all the beds were comfy. There is lots of open space in the living room too to hang out. The heated pool was great in winter and I feel like this property would be lots of fun in summer.

This location is beautiful provides everything you need in a house as long as you take of everything provides a golf cart for you to take trips to the river thats 3 minutes or less away a very nice pool at the back of the house and a lot of space for you and your family!! Lake Austin Gem

We had an incredible stay at the Lake Austin Gem! The location was perfect, just minutes away from Quinlan Park and the beautiful Lake Austin. One of the highlights of our trip was the complimentary golf cart, which made exploring the area with our family so much fun and convenient. The home itself is stunning. It has been recently remodeled, and every detail is well-appointed, making our stay comfortable and luxurious. Each bedroom has its own en suite bathroom, which was a huge plus for our group, providing privacy and convenience. The backyard was a true oasis with a private pool and jacuzzi. We spent many relaxing afternoons lounging by the pool and enjoying the serene surroundings. The outdoor space was beautifully maintained and offered plenty of seating for everyone. Overall, the Lake Austin Gem exceeded our expectations. We would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a relaxing and memorable getaway. We can't wait to return!

This was a fantastic property. The inside was spacious and had plenty of room in each bedroom and bathroom. The living/dinning room space was open and airy and the little touches of having beach towels ready by the back door, the comfy throw blankets in a basket near the couch, the end tables next to the living room seating that had USB cord outlets in the tables, were just added touches that you can really appreciate it. The outdoor pool area was very nice and the patio umbrella was also an added bonus. The golf cart and paddle boards and proximity to a nice, quiet clean area of Lake Austin to drop in the paddle boards made for an unexpected feature of our stay since we had not planned to do that originally. I would definitely visit this property again if I am in that area or want to make a getaway to that area with family or friends. The sleeping arrangement worked for us but with larger parties, one person or couple will benefit from being in a solo king bed while the others will be bunked up together between the two remaining rooms but it worked for our group just fine. Great communication with owner as well.

The host was a fantastic communicator and answered all questions promptly. This was a perfect set up for a relaxed bachelorette. Everything was clean and extremely spacious. The lights did go out for 20ish minutes at one point at night and without service it was hard to check the Austin outage map. We had a great time!
