Welcome to The Silo On Lake Travis. Our farmhouse style 7 bedroom, 3 large bathroom home is a dream vacation spot. This brand new custom home is steps from the beautiful Lake Travis in Austin, Texas. We have a custom pool and massive hot tub (16 people). The top floor of this property consists of beautiful lake views, a silo bar, 3 large bedrooms, 2 beautiful bathrooms, large communal space for eating, and a Chef’s dream kitchen. The master suite has a king size bed and gorgeous tree top views with a dream bathroom with double shower heads. The two additional bedrooms share a jack and jill bathroom. The kitchen consists of gorgeous Thermador commercial appliances and two dishwashers. This floor includes a large porch with lake views and an egg smoker for cooking.

The bottom floor of this 2 story house comes with all of the amenities to have the perfect large group gathering . The house is equipped with a second full kitchen with seating for 12 on 2 large farmhouse dining room tables, 1 large living space, 1 king bed, 2 queen, 3 twin beds, covered patio room, outdoor propane grill and a blackstone griddle multiple outdoor gathering options. Additionally, we have a ping pong, fooseball table and gym equipment in the game room.
The house also comes with a 6 person golf cart

Detailed Overview:
Upstairs is a beautifully designed farmhouse style home, covered in ship lap and metal decor. The downstairs walls are covered in charming bead-board and reclaimed wood from 1915. There are 4 bedrooms and 1 large bathroom, full kitchen with stove/oven, refrigerator, dishwasher and all other kitchen neccesities. This space includes 2 large farmhouse dinner tables with seating for 10-12 as well as a spacious living room complete with an L shaped couch, and full TV set up with Apple TV. The master bedroom has 1 king bed and full TV set up. Two guest rooms has queen beds, the fourth bedroom has 3 twin beds..

Our property can additionally be accessed by water. We also have lake toys, kayaks, paddle boards, life vests ect. We do not have a dock.

Perfect spot on Lake Travis

We stayed here for my sister’s bachelorette party and it was the perfect place to stay for a group. There were 12 of us and there was plenty of places to sleep and a ton of places to hang out. Kim was extremely responsive whenever I had questions leading up to the trip. We booked a hibachi dinner at the house per her recommendation and also rented Kim and Chris’ boat. Kyle the boat driver was great and made sure we all had a great time. Best part is the boat picked us up from the loading dock which is walking distance from the house. Dinah the property manager lives across the street and was extremely communicative and helpful. Everything was as advertised and I would 100 percent book again.

Friends Vacation perfect for kids

We had a wonderful time at the Silo! we had 3 families with kids ranging from 3-13 (6 adults and 8 kids) and we fit perfectly. The property manager was waiting for us upon arrival and gave us a great tour of the place! The house was very clean and is stocked with all the things you need in the kitchen! we were able to go to a local grocery store for food but didnt really need to leave after that! The pool/hot tub area was a dream. We had trouble shooting required for the spa but both the property manager and owner were extremely responsive and were able to get it up and working for us very quickly. We loved playing in the pool and enjoyed the great outdoor space! The multiple grill options (egg, flat top and regular grill) was so great for cooking. The lake is a quick golfcart ride away and we loved being able to use the lake toys (paddle boards, kayak, floats provided). The lay out of the house is perfect for kids to have their own sleeping arrangements and plenty of space to play with the game room being their favorite part! The only "down side" (not even the correct words) are the city was currently doing some work around the lake so there were some heavy machinery and work being done. This was not at all audible at the house, didnt impact our stay and the owner actually gave us aheads up before hand on this!We highly recommend the Silo and will absolutely book again!

We want to come back!

This was the perfect rental to spend Christmas with my family and my in-laws (10 adults, 2 kids, and one baby). The distribution of the property was perfect to spend time together as a family and for the kids to play, but also have privacy when needed. The house is very well equipped for cooking, using the pool / spa, board games, and Watch TV and relax. Spotless clean and great location! Great rental for grupa, whether it’s only adults or adults with kids / infants. The only thing to be mindful / aware is that you can hear everything that happens on the top floor from the bottom floor, but this shouldn’t be a deal breaker at all.

Stayed here with a group of 11 for the weekend. Had everything we needed. Kim was very responsive and made it easy to check in and out. Highly recommend if you’re visiting Lake Travis - large group or not!

Fun for all our family

This was the cleanest home and best furnished kitchen we have ever stayed in! Lots of open space for the little ones to play & places for the older ones to hide away. (We had grandkids ages 1-16.) The pool & spa had room for all. The AC works great. A huge washer/dryer. Lots of linens & pool towels. It is a bit of a drive to get to the lake but the golf cart made that a fun adventure. Go for a Big Tex pontoon rental. They will pick you up at the back of the property. We enjoyed an evening ball game at the Round Rock Express. (30 minute drive) A great week for all of us.

Overall a nice place

The home is very comfortable and clean however the split levels did prove a bit challenging for my family. We made many many trips up and down the stairs. We loved and spent a lot of time in the pool and hot tub. Just know the hot tub is limited to four hours per day. The lake was pretty low however my family still enjoyed it and made use of the kayaks. The property manager was right across the street and was readily available when we needed anything.

Family Retreat

Celebrated our 50th Wedding Anniversary by bringing together our four sons, spouses, & children — ten adults & four children. The Silo was a perfect match for our plans. Plenty of space, two large common rooms for gathering, and a wonderful pool. All fourteen of us had a wonderful time at The Silo!

Great house itself. Probably even nicer when the lake is not so low

The house is very clean and nice, as advertised. Outdoor spaces also nice. There were some snags with checking in because the property manager got sick, nothing major. The owner came by the next day to acquaint us and give some recommendations, which was nice. The lake is super low right now and as a result the property is pretty far from the water, fyi. We had a great time

We loved our stay!

Our group of 14 (7 couples) had a great time. We loved that every couple had a bedroom. Pool was fabulous and so much room between the upstairs and downstairs living room and kitchen. Owners were easy to stay in touch with and they made sure that all questions and special requests were taken care of. Would return for sure!

We Loved the Silo

I am from Wisconsin so I know a thing or two about Silos! This is the nicest one I have ever been in! Kidding aside the place was fantastic. We were in for my daughters wedding and she rented the Noble house next door. That made things very convenient as we could have a really large group of 30 in total between the two properties. They have a fence they opened and it is only 40 feet or so from door to door. We had 12 people at at the silo which was perfect. Everything was very clean and the beds very comfortable with great bedding and lots of pillows! The upstairs is very large with a huge kitchen Island. We loved the open spaciousness of the area. My wife and I stayed in the Master and the bathroom was wonderful with a huge two person shower. Laundry upstairs was really convenient with great appliances across the board Downstairs was large too. We were too busy to play ping pong but that was in the garage along with some other table games. The pool was fantastic. It was 105 degrees so we spent a lot of time in it. We made great use of the huge Blackstone grill and made burgers at night and bacon in the morning! The lake is low right now but the hillside views are just as beautiful. The owners were very responsive and the check in person lived right next door which is really convenient. She even came over and sprayed off our cars as the roads in Austin hills can be dusty. We would definitely stay again if we were in the area.

Gorgeous Home

This house was amazing! It had everything we need and more! For a party of 15 girls this house was plenty big for us to not be on top of each other. The dining tables were big enough to fit all 15 of us. The beds were comfortable and the bathrooms were well kept and spacious. Everything about this house was perfect for our trip, many of us did not want to leave! Would highly recommend this house and Kim!

Great long weekend here with friends. House is incredible. Beautiful, cool decor, Clean, open, had an amazing fully stalked kitchen and huge table for all of us. Property owner and manager were both great to work with. Easy to communicate and responded quickly. Pool is beautiful with a shelf for those who just want to put feet in to cool down. So many games, pool floats, frisbees, corn hole and a fire pit. It would be perfect for families! Close to town as well so easy to grab forgotten items at store. 100% recommend!

One stop destination!

This house has it all! Pool, hot tub, ping pong, foosball, lake access (with the use of a golf cart), beautiful deck with very nice view of lake and a fully stocked kitchen! This house was perfect for our large group of diverse ages. There was something for everyone. The booking process was seamless and the check in process was very thorough and helpful. Dinah, the property manager was very friendly and helpful. We will definitely recommend this home to our friends and family who are looking for a relaxing vacation or staycation.

Perfect property for large group

My college friends and I rented this house for our annual reunion and it was perfect for our large group! We really enjoyed the big open family area upstairs and the pool. Great location and the property manager was very nice!
