The Space:
Hang up your hat and kick off your boots! Built in 1894 by stonemason Robert Stanley, this registered historic landmark has undergone extensive renovations while still retaining its stately charm. Original stone walls? Yessir. Beautiful woodwork throughout? Yes maâam. Updated kitchen and bathrooms? Yes, please! Youâll find period details from back in the day, like handcrafted stairs, a mahogany library, and clawfoot tubs are juxtaposed nicely with the modern conveniences of high-end appliances, large tiled baths, marble showers, and 24 double-hung windows that allow great views and changing light during the day.
The main house is comforting and warm, with three floors of beautifully designed flex living spaces, 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms.

Just outside the cabin, youâll find a BBQ, a large dining table for enjoying some grub and a sitting area where you can hang out with your gang. Did we mention thereâs a pool?! Jump in and cool off during those hot Texas summer (May - October) days.

Traveling with your furry friend? We allow 2 pets as long as their combined weight is no more than 60 lbs. (Must sign a pet agreement, and thereâs a fee per night. Certain breed restrictions apply.)

Getting Around:
When the weather is pleasant, enjoy walking through the beautiful tree-lined streets of this eclectic neighborhood. You will find tons of shops and restaurants and some music venues on lively South Congress Avenue - less than a mile away. From South Congress Avenue, downtown Austin is just another mile north. You can also easily get over to the Rainey Street District, East Austin, Zilker Park, and Bouldin - all within 3 miles.
The nearest international airport is Austin-Bergstrom International Airport (AUS/KAUS) 9.2 miles | 14.8 km away. We recommend getting around by car as there are no public transportation options. .

We provide some bath essentials like soap, shampoo, conditioner, body gel, toilet paper, and some garbage bags. Please note that these are not replenished during your stay.
Pack-n-Play travel crib (with sheets) & high chair are available upon request.
Daily house cleaning is not available however, if you would like a mid-stay cleaning, one can be arranged for a fee. Please let us know in advance.

We kindly ask all guests to abide by these HOUSE RULES:
- Travelers must be at least 21 years old or older to book.
- A $100 replacement fee applies for any lost or missing parking pass.
- No smoking of any kind (tobacco, cannabis, vaping etc.) inside the home, and the use of any recreational drugs on the premises is strictly prohibited.
- No parties, events, or illegal activities are permitted, and no excessive noise, especially between 10:00 pm and 7 am, will be tolerated. Please respect the neighbors.
- No more guests than those listed in your reservation are allowed.
- Pet-friendly with prior authorization at booking, a signed pet agreement, and a pet fee of $25 per night. Pet fee is requested after booking is confirmed. Two pets max with a combined weight of 60 lbs. A pet fee is requested once the booking is confirmed.
- We kindly ask that pets stay off the furniture to keep things fresh for everyone. An additional cleaning fee may apply if excessive pet hair is found.
Interaction with Guests:
Itâs self-check-in using a code. All the access codes will be provided to you before your arrival.

Exceptional accommodations near South Congress and Zilker Park. The beds and linens were super comfortable with room for 6 teens and 6 adults. We loved the outdoor deck and used the gas grill for dinner. A serene setting under the beautiful live oak trees in the heart of Austin!
Great location and neighborhood. Really easy check in. Great yard with firepit / outdoor table area to hang out.
Photos make it seem quite large; it felt much more cramped in person. One bedroom is on main floor across from living room (not much privacy). Other bedroom is on 2nd floor but there is no door to the room.
Our group stayed at The Stanley and we really enjoyed the location! We could walk to shops and restaurants. Plus there was plenty of space for 8 to gather and communication with the host was great. However, as we got further into our stay there were several cleanliness issues.
One perk of this rental is plenty of dishes! But many had food caked on them in the cabinets. Along with utensils that were sticky and in the drawer. Several appliances have seen better days and don't work properly.
We were looking forward to using the pool because it was HOT.. But it had not been cleaned out and the water was really stagnate. So we skipped it all together.
A couple of friends stayed in the guest house which is on the rustic side and had mold on the shower walls.
Overall the property is nice, but the house needs a bit of TLC for the price point.
A house laced with personality in an amazing location! quick walk to South Congress and a short uber ride to downtown. Loved and had a great time with a big group!
This house is cozy and spacious, and was perfect for our group of 8! It's just a couple blocks from S Congress, so the location could not be more convenient. Beds were comfy!
This place was awesome, and everything that we could ask for from our celebration of my Brother's Bachelor Party! The only reason I gave it a 4 on the cleanliness, was due to a dead roach that was in the lobby when we arrived. Otherwise, the home offered us everything we could ask for, plus the management team was very nice to work with! Made the whole process very each for us.

We stayed here with 8 family members. It as great! We were spending time with our son before he is deployed. Cool house, charming cottage out back great uatd with games, grill, fire pit. The beds were so very comfy! Two blocks to the main drag. We had a fantastic weekend with our son. Thank you!
