This house is solely managed by the owner.

Discover the charm of a quiet, waterfront location. Enjoy sunsets over the water at this lakefront beauty. The cul-de-sac location offers solitude away from busy streets yet close (walking distance) to the neighborhood shops. It's just 1000 feet to the ocean & some the east coast's best beaches - literally a 5-minute walk across community boardwalks. You can reach off-road, 4-wheel drive, beach access one mile to the south.

SURFDANCER is a gorgeous lakefront property with two master bedrooms, a large great room, a well equipped kitchen, and includes a community pool and tennis. The entry level has an enclosed outside shower, fish prep table, storage space for surf- and sail-boards beneath the house, under house entry with concrete driveway, and great parking.

The second level offers a lakefront master bedroom (king bed) with private full bath, a second bedroom with two singles opening to a shaded deck, a third bedroom with two bunk beds, a full bath, and a utility room with large washer and dryer.

The top floor features a second master bedroom (queen bed) facing the ocean, with a private deck and a full bath next to it. Also on the top level, you will find a large vaulted great room with spacious dining area and well-equipped kitchen and deck overlooking the lake. SURFDANCER is the perfect affordable vacation spot!

Maison trĂšs confortable sur rue tranquille. À quelques minutes Ă  pied de la plage. Nous avons surfĂ© au Pier de Avon. Les vagues devant l'accĂšs Ă©taient trĂšs bien pour la baignade. Ice cream truck qui passait dans la rue Ă©tait parfait.

We had great stay at the Surfdancer in early August. Two families with small kids. The house is large and comfortable, kitchen well equipped, and the location is wonderful - within walking distance to both the beach and the supermarket. Also a great location for exploring the more southern beaches and perfect for a day trip to Ocracoke. The host for very responsive and attentive. Thank you!

Spring break fun

The property was clean and comfortable. The house was super close to businesses, which was easily walkable or in our case, very biking friendly. We didn’t have WiFi for a couple of days during our stay, but the provider was pretty quick to come out and provide a temporary remedy until a fix could be made.

Great location!

The house was in a perfect location to stay somewhat secluded and still be close to everything. It needs some updates and minor fixes but it was very clean and perfect for what we needed. The owner responded fairly quickly and was very nice.

Perfect Location and NO surprises!

We loved vacation spots this year from Assateague Island and it was perfect! Glen was so helpful with everything that we needed to make this an easy transition! My husband and our 8 year old go with our “Framily” friends - another couple and their two sons. Plenty of room for all of us! We love to drive on the beach and it was so easy to get a permit online before we came and the access point was just a few minutes away, as noted. We walked to the beach in the morning for sunrises and it was also just as described - so close! The views from the deck were great. The outside shower was a hit! Plenty of space to lounge and relax and enjoy all the Avon has to offer. We took advantage of proximity to the Farmers Maekwt and got some amazing tomatoes and other goodies for beach dinners & being close to the grocery store stopped us from eating all of the amazing food nearby. But we did try a good number of the recommendations and they were all great! We did notice there are a lot of restaurants not open every day or closed last minute or very long ways, but in height of summer season we’re happy to see business thriving! We found a boat rental about 25 minutes away that was super fun for a day too! And spent some Time at the lighthouse as well. Every question we had prior to check in and once checked in was answered promptly and with kindness. We will definitely go back! Thanks for the amazing memories!

We had a great time in Avon. The house is perfectly located where you can walk to the beach, restaurants, pool, tennis courts, and grocery store. There was plenty of space and the decks were amazing to sit on at night and take in the amazing sunsets. It was a quiet and perfect family vacation.
