Convenient stop over for Nurburgring.

We stayed at the Waldhotel in Bad MĂŒnstereifel on 2 different occasions as a stop over for the 24 hour race at the Nurburgring. The hotel is not too far from the track & had some lovely roads on the way so a convenient stop over. The hotel is somewhat dated, the first room (204) we stayed in had a kitchenette, bed, shower room & lounge, the second room (202) was better with 2 single beds and a shower room which looked newer. The hotel doesn’t serve dinner & we struggled to get food in town (there was 10 of us though), breakfast was ok but service not great. The price was good so it was as we expected.

Bit of a disappointment

This hotel should have everything going for it. Just outside of town, parking, quiet wooded area and a short walk into the centre (albeit a very steep walk back) but it missed. We arrived early and did not expect to get a room until much later but would like to inform the reception of that and about our car as a courtesy. But the place was shut and there was a number to call. Coming back later we able to get in (via other guests!) but the room key and the registration form was there for you to fill out on the reception desk but no-one else. You also had to specify time and numbers for breakfast. A DIY hotel. The room was a bit tatty, no basin plug, missing curtains, no heating (weather was grim), empty minibar, limited tea making facilities (2 herbal teabags and no milk) and an iffy shower head. It must be said there was a freezer, plenty of hot water and the attended breakfast was very good but overall a disappointment.

Enkelt hotell fÄ mil fra motorveien

Eldre hotell som ligger fint til pĂ„ en hĂžyde omgitt av trĂŠr ca 7 minutters gange fra sentrum. RomnĂžkkelen lĂ„ klar i resepsjonen sammen med innsjekkingspapirene for utfylling. Om litt kom resepsjonisten som var meget imĂžtekommende. Rommet var lite uten plass for stol eller skrivebord. Bestod av enkle senger med nattbord og sted for Ă„ henge fra seg yttertĂžy. Lite baderom med dusjkabinett, vask og WC. Varmen var ikke pĂ„slĂ„tt i hotellet og det var kaldt pĂ„ rommet og i hotellet forĂžvrig. Hotellet tilbyr frokost i matsal og ble satt fram pĂ„ bordet i sin helhet. Helt greit. Det var ryddig og rent bĂ„de pĂ„ rommet og forĂžvrig. Fikk god orientering om stedet av personalet. Selve Bad MĂŒnstereifel er verd et besĂžk. Vi ble veldig positivt overrasket over bymuren og den eldre vakre bygningsmassen med butikker, kafeer, restauranter, etc. Nydelig historisk by.

Einfaches Hotel, hĂŒbsch gelegen und zentrumsnah

Das einfach ausgestattete Hotel ist hĂŒbsch am Berg gelegen und zentrumsnah, perfekt fĂŒr ein Shopping Wochenende. Alles Wichtige und SehenswĂŒrdigkeiten sind fußlĂ€ufig erreichbar. Kann man mit ruhigem Gewissen weiterempfehlen.

Verlassen im Wald

Kein Mensch im Hotel, keine GetrĂ€nke auf dem Zimmer oder woanders, Zimmer eiskalt, Heizung bollerte die ganze Nacht lauf, Duschwasser hatte zu Beginn einen ekligen Braunton und vieles mehr. was am meisten Ärgerte war, dass die GeschĂ€ftsfĂŒhrerin sich noch nicht mal entschuldigte fĂŒr diese Dinge, sondern sagte, man hat das Dach decken mĂŒssen und kein Geld fĂŒr anderes.

Ein etwas anderes Hotel

Wir waren 1 Nacht da. Das Zimmer war gut eingerichtet mit kleiner KĂŒche, Aufenthaltsraum, Schlafzimmer und Bad nur leider außer im Bad sehr kalt, WLAN Signal ist auch frage der Zimmer lage. Am Anreise Tag habe ich das Personal ĂŒberhaupt nicht angetroffen, dafĂŒr am Abreise Tag. Es gab gutes und ausgewogenes FrĂŒhstĂŒck. Der Check out war auch kein Problem. Alles in allem ein kurzer Abendteuer Urlaub.

Zimmer klein, kein Stuhl kein Tisch , Rezeption nicht stĂ€ndig besetzt, nur Rufbereitschaft (Handynummer). Haus von außen verschlossen daher wird ein Handy vorausgesetzt. Ohne Handy kein Einlass

Am Wochenende abschalten.

Das Waldhotel ist optimal um nahe am Zentrum vom Bad MĂŒnstereifel zu sein zum Shoppen und lecker Speisen. Aber auch die Zeit zu nutzen fĂŒr schöne SpaziergĂ€nge rund um das Waldhotel in den WĂ€ldern.

Personal freundlich und hilfsbereit. Heizung macht gereusche sauber ist was anderes. Im Bad lagen Harre rum.
