HERMOSA RETREAT est une évasion exclusive nichée dans la jungle au-dessus de la célÚbre Playa Hermosa. Absolument une vue imprenable sur l'océan Pacifique, le coucher du soleil toute l'année et le légendaire conte de baleine. Tout cela avec une brise constante qui coule à travers la maison.

Cette maison neuve dispose de 3 chambres généreuses et de 4 salles de bain. Le salon est parfaitement conçu pour les tropiques car il s'ouvre sur une grande terrasse extérieure avec canapé et chaise balançoire pour se détendre et se perdre dans ce paradis parfait. Un endroit idéal pour le yoga et la méditation. Pour l'aprÚs-midi chaud, nous avons une piscine à débordement pour vous rafraßchir. La maison est équipée d'équipements de qualité supérieure.

Hermosa Retreat a également un excellent emplacement. Il est situé à seulement 10 min au sud de Dominical et 2 min au nord d'Uvita. Il est également à 30 minutes de l'aéroport de Quepos et à 40 minutes de la célÚbre plage Manuel Antonio et du parc national. Ils sont nombreux de belle plage, surf, riviÚre, cascade et restaurant à quelques minutes en voiture. La plage la plus proche est Playa Hermosa - à seulement 4 minutes en voiture de la maison.

Une vue spectaculaire sur le pacifique

Maison trÚs luxueuse avec une vue imprenable sur la pacifique. La piscine à débordement est superbe avec une température parfaite. Les environs sont trÚs agréables. De la terrasse on a pu apercevoir des signes, des toucans, des coatis, des aras, un iguane
 trÚs sympa. Seul bémol pour nous, ce sont les douches des chambres (mitigeurs). De retour en France, nous avons encore des paillettes dans les yeux

The rental was everything and more compared to the description. Great location, paved road up the mountain to the villa where we never wanted to leave. Sunsets, bird watching, and relaxing in the pool overlooking the whales tail is something we will never forget. From booking and logistics Jerome was amazing. He made sure we were taken care of from car rental, airport shuttles, last minute changes due to weather, etc
 he went above and beyond ensuring we enjoyed our stay. Cathleen, the concierge, was also an all star. She helped setup multiple tours throughout the region and ensured we were taken care of. When we come back we will only look for this rental and work with Jerome and Cathleen.

Amazing property and view! Very responsive and friendly property manager. I know there is a lot online about theft in Uvita but we did not hear or witness anything like that. Take precautions as recommended by property manager, etc. but don't let that scare you away from Uvita. It is a wonderful place.

The view is spectacular. The area is full of activities but a car is necessary. We had a driver. So we enjoyed the scenery and not worrying about directions. There was plenty of wildlife in the area to observe. Bring binoculars for the birds. Security was good. There are neighbors but no noise issues. It feels secured and private. The kitchen is well supplied Great water pressure. The beds were very comfortable. The bedrooms are air conditioned but not the main area. There was always a breeze when we opened up the doors and windows. The communication was superb any questions or issues were dealt with immediately. Jerome put us in touch with Cathleen and we arranged activities so we got the most out of our time. Jonny our driver was so good with our adventures. He knew local places and people that made our trip one of a lifetime! Thank you for an excellent adventure!

Stunning Views with a Few Considerations!

This property is extremely well maintained and the view is absolutely breathtaking—photos truly don't do it justice. The highlight was definitely the panoramic view of the Whale’s Tail, which made the entire stay feel special.As a group of women traveling together, some of the security instructions made us a bit uneasy at first. We were advised to always set the alarm, keep lights on, and bar doors/windows, which gave the impression that the area might not be the safest. Security was noted as being on-site from 5 PM to 5 AM, but we never actually saw any guards during our comings and goings. Fortunately, we didn’t encounter any issues, but not being able to set the alarm while inside did leave us a little on edge the first few nights.The town itself felt a bit rougher than other parts of Costa Rica we’ve visited. It didn’t impact our safety, but it did affect the overall feel of the location especially after the safety instructions.The beds were quite firm and the pillows weren't the most comfortable. Also worth noting: the pool is not heated and can be pretty chilly, especially in the evenings. We opted for the chef one night who was amazing and Jerome was helpful in coordinating!Overall, the house and view were incredible, and we enjoyed our stay—but for future trips, we may opt for a more central area with full-time security for added peace of mind or use the chef/concierge options more to not need to leave the property as much or go into town.

Another Beautiful Stay!

Beautiful villa, amazing views, and everything you could ever need. Wonderful property manager, with quick responses to any inquiry. Cathleen at Explore Uvita was incredibly helpful, and knowledgable, organizing fun excursions for us. Villa is very clean, and in a perfect location- close to Uvita, Playa Hermosa and Dominical. This is our second time staying at this property, and we will definitely be back again!

Awesome stay

We arrived late at night and had trouble initially finding the property. Follow the directions to the location that property manager sends you prior to check in not the location of the VRBO listing. The house is amazing, views are stunning, house was well kept and we had a great time.

Wonderful!!

We stayed for just over a week ( March 2024), and didn’t want to ever leave. The house is absolutely stunning, and has everything you could ever need. The view is incredible!!! We saw many macaws, and toucans, and heard howler monkeys one morning. Easily accessible on a paved road, the villa is well located for Whale’s Tail Beach, Uvita grocery stores, and Dominical. Directions and instructions were very clear and easy. Jerome arranged a wonderful chef’s dinner, which we enjoyed so much. Cathleen ( Explore Uvita) coordinated two excursions for us, which we loved ( horseback riding and a catamaran trip) and she is a Superstar! She went over and above, and was so quick to reply to any questions. So helpful! There is construction going on below and above the villa, but such is life. Just be aware in case you prefer to sleep in, as they start around 6:30am. It didn’t bother us though. This was our favourite house that we have rented in this area, and we would definitely return. We miss it already!

Spectacular View!

The views from the outside living space and pool are even better in person. Everyone involved was friendly and very responsive. A little noisy with a new home being built across the street and the main living area can get a little hot. But, I would heartedly recommend this home to everyone. We had a magical week there. Hermosa Retreat

This property was fantastic. Great ocean view from the pool deck with all kinds of wildlife all around. On our last day, a coati came up on the deck looking for food and walked around for 5 minutes while we were relaxing by the pool. Jerome and his team were fantastic and made everything from the airport transfer to the check out go smoothly. I would I highly recommend this villa. We also had the private chef prepare dinner for us on a couple of nights and the food was amazing. I would definitely recommend trying the chef as well. We look forward to coming back here again!

Unbeatable View

Our family absolutely loved staying at this property. The views are unbeatable and the property itself delivered. It is centrally located to many attractions and dining. The only negative for our stay was there was quite a bit of construction directly below the outdoor patio that was very loud. Management was very helpful and timely as was the concierge. Once the nearby construction is complete, this would be a 5+. Would definitely return.

Wonderful Stay! Costa Rica is beautiful! We will be back!

The house was very nice, very clean, with everything you need for a lovely stay. Jerome was extremely responsive to all our questions and concerns in the months leading up to the trip and during. The water shut off once and someone was there to fix it within 30 minutes. We felt extremely safe while staying there as well. Once we returned from an excursion after dark and a security guard was there at the gate because he said the alarm had been sounding. We never got to the bottom of it since it was still set and the house appeared undisturbed but it was great peace of mind that there was a guard on standby in case something was really wrong. The house was plenty of space for the size of our family. The view is SPECTACULAR! It’s indescribable, truly! The sunsets and view of The Whale’s Tail were breathtaking. The drive up from the main road is easy. Takes about 3 minutes to be at the house to the bottom of the hill. We did rent a pickup so that helped with the steep climb but no need for a 4x4. The car service we had to and from the airport was terrific. The driver, Paul, was so friendly and spoke great English and answered a lot of questions and gave a lot of information and history about Costa Rica on our drive. Cathleen the tour manager was fantastic in her recommendations and help with setting everything up. A few things to note: - The drive from the airport was a bit longer than it says in the listing. It was about an hour longer which Jerome explained can happen for various reasons after I inquired since I was concerned about how early we needed to leave for our trip back. I’m mentioning it because with 3 kids, by the end of the drive and after 2 flights, my two youngest were in tears. It was probably pushing out limits for travel tolerance with the kids as it was but with the added drive delay, it got our trip off to a rocky start. This is not the fault, of course, of the owners but I would recommend changing the description in the listing as up to 4.5 hours from San Jose depending on traffic so people are aware. The trip back in the early morning was closer to 3 hours. - The pool and house are great but with kids, you definitely want to have your days planned or I think our kids would have gotten bored after a while. We stayed at the house on the first day and day before we left but had excursions on the others.

The view from this house is so spectacular you'll want to spend the day and night floating in the pool. We did in fact do that one day during our stay. Perfect set up for three couples with what is essentially three master bedrooms. Jerome went above and beyond for us before and during our stay--helping us get the house provisioned for our arrival, coordinating drivers (ask for Paul!) and taxis, arranging a chef to come to the home to cook and serve us dinner (highly recommend) and answering a million questions. He also set us up with Cathleen, who helped us book the most amazing sunset sail and made dinner reservations at restaurants that took our collective breaths away. It was the perfect spot to explore this beautiful country. The most overused word on this trip for the four of us was..."WOW!"

Unmatched views!

My wife and I stayed at Hermosa Luxury Resort for her Birthday and were blown away by this property. The house is beautiful, and you have 180 degree ocean views of Whale Tail from the patio and infinity pool. We will absolutely come back.

Impeccably clean and amazing view

Upon arrival we let ourselves in with lockbox key and found the house clean and bright. The view was breathtaking of the Whales tail! The kitchen was nicely equipped with everything we needed and more. The pool was clean and refreshing and they pool towels for us! It was just far enough out of town to be quiet but also east to get groceries and have dinner out! We will certainly be back! Thank you

This home and it’s location are the perfect getaway. The host was very attentive to our needs and even reached out to us to make suggestions on things to do. Horseback riding on the beach is 5 minutes away. 5 star place for sure!
