Cozy up by two indoor gas fireplaces or enjoy evenings by the firepit under the stars. To fully enjoy all four seasons, the cabin is equipped with heat and air conditioning. The large deck provides the perfect spot for morning coffee, wildlife viewing, and outdoor dining all with an unobstructed view of Grandfather Mountain ridge. The property is on a well-maintained, paved road and offers upper and lower parking areas for multiple vehicles. This allows convenient access in any weather, though 4WD is always recommended for navigating Sugar Mountain. In inclement weather, parking in upper lot is highly recommended. Despite its tranquil, secluded setting, the cabin is close to local amenities like grocery stores, restaurants, shops, and activities, all within a mile. Located in the Village of Sugar Mountain, outdoor enthusiasts can enjoy a wide range of seasonal activities such as skiing/snowboarding, snow tubing, snowshoeing, ice skating, golf, tennis, mountain biking, and hiking all just minutes away. The nearby town of Banner Elk was recently ranked #6 on USA Today’s list of best ski towns in North America offering dining, shopping, live music, festivals, and much more to explore.
