Description: The Grand Oaks floor plan features convenient single level living with 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, elevator access, and a covered entry. The open floor concept has a spacious 1669 square feet. Mountain views can be admired from the open kitchen, living and dining room areas as well as the primary bedroom. The kitchen boasts custom cabinetry and is equipped with everything to prepare a meal. Enjoy a meal at the dining room table, play cards or put a puzzle together. Cozy up in the living room in front of the gas log fireplace or enjoy your favorite movie. The choices are yours! The large 19 ft wide covered concrete deck is a place to gather with friends or enjoy a quiet afternoon enjoying the wonders of nature and the breathtaking mountain view. The spacious primary bedroom and bathroom suite offers a luxurious experience and access to the deck area as well as the living room. The guest bedrooms also have bathrooms offering privacy for each guest. Come for a short weekend or enjoy an extended stay and explore all the High Country has to offer. This condo is on the bottom floor (downstairs) with an elevator. In case of power outages or elevator equipment malfunctions, the condo will be stair access only.

Resorts' Amenities: Amenities in these gated resorts include indoor and outdoor (seasonal May 1 - Oct. 1) swimming pools with hot tubs, two private clubhouses, fitness rooms, stocked fishing ponds, a 23-acre riverfront park, community hiking trails and catch and release fishing.

Location: This Resort is centrally located to Boone, Banner Elk, Valle Crucis and Blowing Rock in the Foscoe area. The convenient location makes it just minutes away from all the High Country’s most famous attractions such as the Blue Ridge Parkway, Tweetsie Railroad, Grandfather Mountain, Linville Falls and Caverns, and Appalachian State University.  If you are looking for winter sports there are several different options from Hawksnest Snow Tubing, Sugar Mountain Ski Resort, Beech Mountain Ski Resort, and Appalachian Ski Resort. Relax and enjoy the slow pace of the mountains and the fresh air or be adventurous and go hiking, fishing, biking, or sight-seeing. Some other things people enjoy are shopping, antiquing, skiing, golfing and miniature golfing, ziplining, go-karts, and gem mining.

Clean home, nice floorplan. Grandkids wanted to live there :) A couple of minor things need fixing: ceiling fan in front bdrm on left doesn't work and in the master the door onto the back porch doesn't close or open at all easily (feels like its locked and refusing to open or shut). A tad confusing when they want the dishwasher running when you leave but also want the water turned off . Overall we really enjoyed this home and community. Beautiful property. We hope to stay there again.

Family get away for Tweetsie Railroad

Beautiful, clean, just as pictured. The only draw back was no place "flat" enough for kids to run around some. We did make use of indoor pool to get out some energy, so that made up for it. Great place, hope to return!

Wonderful Trip

Everything was great! The views were amazing! The kitchen was stocked with everything as far as cooking utensils. However if you need anything as far as cooking spray/spices/napkins/paper towels remember to bring your own. We will definitely come back!

Ski weekend

It was a nice property but smaller than what I thought. It was very convenient to Sugar Mountain. The amenities with the pool are a little clunky but they were accessible when you figured that part out as you bud to drive off campus. Gorgeous views!!

Fabulous location with clear view to Grandfather

The location and accommodations were excellent. The only thing missing was access to more nature at the Echota site. Plan to use a car to get anywhere. I enjoyed my trek to the clubhouse, but I had to walk on the road and suspect some people would have driven to the fitness room, pool, and pool table. Overall, it was a great experience.

Great cute place for families!

What a great condo with adorable decor in every room! Top notch appliances and kitchen accessories for cooking in! View was amazing and it didn’t feel like a condo at all! Close to everything (within 20-30 mins) you want to do in the winter with kids! The indoor pool was a short drive and really fun for all! My only recommendations is that you get ice and bring bottled waters as the water/ice are very slow to get. Would also suggest (to owner) a bigger table to accommodate 6-8 guests as we felt table size was small for our group to play games and eat together (4Kids, 4Adults).

Beautiful views from deck. The coffee maker & toaster oven did not work the masterbath commode leaked. Little to no supplies in kitchen & old pots & pans. For the price charged overall disappointing property.

Great service

The day we were leaving we got a call that our booked rental was undergoing scaffolding work, so they moved us to a 2 story townhome and we loved it! Same neighborhood. Excellent view, 20 min from Sugar Mtn, you could walk to the outdoor pool but would have to drive down the hill to the other Echota neighborhood for the hot tub/indoor pool. Not a bad drive, we did it nightly and our 5 kids loved it.
