Our home has 3 bedrooms and a queen-sized Murphy bed upstairs. The primary suite is on the main floor and has a beautiful ensuite bath with soaking tub. Upstairs there is a large guest bath, and there is a desk with monitor and printer in the guest room if you need to work. All the bedrooms have black-out shades. The whole house is yours to enjoy!

Nearby you will find great restaurants, wineries, breweries. Some of our favorites in town include Stonewalls for delicious American food, LP on Main for great food with a Louisiana twist, Puerto Nuevo for great Mexican food and Peddlin' Pig for BBQ. Try the Thai food at Luna or Uncle Lees. They also have good sushi

Banner Elk Winery is about 10 minutes away, just outside downtown. It is a picturesque place to hang out, drink wine and listen to music. Grandfather Winery, an area classic is only about 6 miles away as well.

There are many microbreweries nearby. Blind Elk and Kettleworks are right in town. Booneshine and Appalachian Mountain Brewery are very popular and within about 30 minutes from the house.

Alpine Mountain Coaster is 5 minutes down the road- fun for all ages.

Many great hikes are nearby, and are close to Grandfather Mountain. Try Rough Ridge, Storyteller and Grandfather Mountain.

There are many public mountain golf courses. We even have a brand new golf simulator place called The Turn about 3 minutes up the road.

For winter sports enthusiasts: Sugar Mountain is 5 minutes away and Beech Mountain is about 15 minutes. We have a closet outside on our porch to keep your ski/snowboarding gear safely stored.

Kids love gem mining and trout fishing. There are many choices close by. Tate Evans Park in downtown Banner Elk has a great playground area and a creek.

There is also local fly fishing, ATV rides and horseback riding

Whether it's skiing at Sugar Mountain, enjoying a great meal, or taking advantage of all the area has to offer, our house will provide a comfortable place to come home to.

We had a great stay and would absolutely come back. The place was very clean, well maintained, and exactly as described. The amenities were excellent and made it really comfortable for our family. Everything was easy and well organized, and the host clearly puts a lot of care into making the experience enjoyable for guests. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a relaxing and hassle-free stay.

Better than advertised!!!

Check in to check was the best experience we have had for our annual mountain trip! The location was great for fun and food! The house was even better in person! Pictures could not do it justice! So clean and well stocked with everything you would need for a great vacation! The communication with the owner was perfection and so helpful! We highly recommend to any family and we look forward to booking again!

We absolutely loved our stay at this home! The house is stunning—modern, comfortable, and impeccably clean. It had everything we needed to feel right at home. The owner was incredibly kind and always quick to respond to our messages, which made everything so much easier. You can tell a lot of care has been put into this place. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Highly recommend—this is a 10/10 stay!
