Nut Hatch—3BR Bar Harbor Home, Walkable to Downtown and Acadia, Pet Friendly

(This property is registered with the Town of Bar Harbor, License #VR2R26-299.) Please note, during the summer weeks, we prefer a weekly rental with a 7 night minimum stay. All other stays require a four night minimum stay per town rules.

WELCOME TO NUT HATCH!

Nut Hatch is a 3-bedroom home located in a quiet Bar Harbor neighborhood within easy walking distance of downtown. It's a wonderful home base for families and groups who want convenient access to Bar Harbor's restaurants, shops and attractions while also being close to Acadia National Park.

Nut Hatch comfortably accommodates up to 8 guests with three bedrooms upstairs. The primary bedroom features a king bed and private en-suite bathroom. The other two bedrooms each have a queen bed and share a full bathroom.

All three bedrooms have their own air-conditioning units, and the first floor is also air conditioned for your comfort.

THE HOME

The main floor features a comfortable living room with a sectional sleeper sofa and chairs, along with a Smart TV, a fully equipped kitchen featuring granite countertops, a dining table for six and an eat-in island for two.

There's also a convenient half bathroom and laundry area with washer and dryer. The back deck is a great place to relax after a day of hiking, sightseeing or exploring Bar Harbor. Enjoy a meal outside, fire up the grill, or simply sit back with a good book.

The home also includes dedicated off-street parking and bike storage in the walk-down basement

A GREAT LOCATION FOR BAR HARBOR AND ACADIA

One of Nut Hatch's greatest advantages is its location.
You can easily walk into downtown Bar Harbor to enjoy the shops, restaurants or take a stroll along the waterfront, then return to the quieter surroundings of the neighborhood at the end of the day.

For cyclists and hikers, Duck Brook Road is a short bike ride away and provides access to Acadia's famous carriage roads and numerous hiking trails.

The Island Explorer offers free seasonal bus service around Mount Desert Island, while access to Acadia's Park Loop Road is just a short drive away. If golf is your thing, historic Kebo Valley Golf Club is also nearby. Established in 1888, Kebo is the oldest golf club in Maine and the eighth-oldest in the United States, and is open to public play.

COMFORTABLE, CONVENIENT AND WELL EQUIPPED

We want Nut Hatch to feel like a true home away from home. The house is fully equipped for families and groups, with a well-stocked kitchen, comfortable beds, air conditioning, laundry, high-speed Wi-Fi and Smart TV/Roku entertainment.

Guests consistently praise Nut Hatch for its cleanliness, comfortable accommodations, convenient location and proximity to both downtown Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park.

Whether you're spending the day hiking the trails, biking the carriage roads, exploring the coast or enjoying Bar Harbor's restaurants and shops, Nut Hatch gives you a comfortable place to return to at the end of the day.

We'd love to have you stay with us at Nut Hatch and experience all that Bar Harbor and Acadia have to offer!

Bar harbor hiking

Great Clean Townhouse near Downtown Bar Harbor

The place was extremely well equipped with everything we needed for a Bar Harbor/Acadia vacay. Checkin was easy and the place was super clean. For our group, the only downside was the lack of a yard for outdoor relaxing. We’d definitely stay again!

Great condo in Bar Harbor

Very comfortable condo. Three good bedrooms and a well appointed kitchen. We were arriving from a week canoeing on the Allagash river so the washer and dryer were a bitg plus. ½ mile to downtown Bar Harbor and close to an entrance to the carriage roads. Very quiet location.
