Two bedroom on first floor at the end of a quiet cul-de-sac in dowtown
ABOUT THE PROPERTY: Built in 2004 and well maintained, this property is in mint condition. Located off of Bridge Street on a private way, the house is a three minute walk to the harbor, shops and restaurants. A two minute walk to Frenchmen's Bay and at low tide you can walk across the sand bar (hence the name Bar Harbor) to Bar Island (part of Acadia). Two parking places allows you to leave the car behind when you explore and enjoy Bar Harbor. Eat inside or outside as the house has a patio with furniture and an outdoor grill. Only 1.5 miles from Acadia National Park and the car-free carriage paths (great for cycling or walking).
Great location. Itâs an easy and short walk to all the restaurants and the waterfront. The unit was clean and comfortable and has off street parking. I would definitely stay here again.
The owner was very helpful and so nice. The property was perfectly located, The parking was super easy. Loved the big and well stocked kitchen. Having a washer and dryer was an unexpected bonus. I couldnât have asked for a more perfect place to stay while my adult daughter and I were in town. 5 out of 5 stars in every aspect from my perspective.
The location of this property is fabulous allowing us to walk to restaurants, grocery store, breweries and anything else we wanted or needed! Also, only a short drive to Acadia National Park where we spent most of our days. The property was spacious and well stocked, but we did not find the beds and pillows comfortable at all. Mattresses were thin and quite hard. Would probably think twice on another stay for this reason only.
We were in Bar Harbor for a long weekend for our sonâs wedding. This apt was the perfect size for our family â cozy, clean & easy walking distance to downtown area + short drive to Acadia. We would def stay here again!
The apartment was clean, filled with interesting art, books, washer and dryer, fully equipped kitchen, comfortable beds. The location was superb! We could easily walk to the harbor, the restaurants, and shops downtown. We enjoyed breakfasts at Jordans, and lunch/dinner at the Side Street Cafe and Finback Ale among our favorites. We both discovered the wonder of tides for the first time at Bar Island. Wow!
5 Stars on all accounts with one slight exception:
TV receptions cuts in and out for sometimes 10 seconds but often to over 30 seconds and beyond. Limited access to major networks.
Perfect location for our trip to Bar Harbor & Acadia - walkable to all of the shops & restaurants, and an easy drive to Acadia hikes. The off-street parking was amazing to have!
The house was well-stocked and comfortable, and generally clean (bedding and linens, etc) but could very much use a deep clean and vacuum.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. A little dated/worn but clean, comfortable and nicely decorated. The location couldnât be better. Communication with the owner was less than ideal (didnât respond to any of my in or out of app texts), finally had to call to confirm everything was ok as well as the check-in process. Pillows are like sleeping on rocks. Bring your own.
Comfortable apartment from which to explore Bar Harbor & Acadia NP
Family of 4 including 2 teens stayed 3 nights-- clean, comfortable, great location. We spent most of our days exploring Acadia; it was great to be walkable to restaurants for breakfasts and dinners. Check-in and communication were very easy and smooth.
Perfect place for a 5 day girls trip to Bar Harbor! Location was absolutely perfect. We walked everywhere we needed to go: e-bikes, kayaking, whale tour, shopping, grocery store, and many restaurants. Check in was a breeze. The hosts were super helpful and responsive to all emails. I feel they went above and beyond for us. Would 100% recommend this place and would stay here again. Thank you so much for a perfect stay!!
