We would stay here again

Yes, this is an older property, our room was comfortable, quiet, well maintained, and clean. It was also the best available value for our dollar, given that we chose to spend most of our time exploring Acadia and vicinity rather than at the inn. The free island shuttle stopped right outside our door, making it easy to get into Bar Harbor and back when we didn't feel like walking. The Looking Glass restaurant, just up the hill, was perfect for breakfast, with tasty food and stunning views of the bay and islands.

What a great place to stay. Just a half a mile from the town of Bar Harbor and the Marina. Very comfortable bed! The restaurant the Looking Glass served a delicious breakfast. We enjoyed our 3 night stay very much.

Great for you, your pup, and all Bar Harbor offers

Wonder View was a really nice stay - not fancy - but still great. Clean room, comfy king bed, good water pressure in the shower, easy to have my dog there (all of Bar Harbor is great for dog-owners). And it's on the Island Shuttle Bus route, which is free and amazing - whether you want to go for a hike or downtown for dinner. Definitely recommend.

Excellent staff assistance....always cheeerful, professional and they knew what they were talking about. Very nice no-frills room (which i like). Very comfortable and large king sized bed. The guys who cleaned the room did a great job. It seems lately in hotels, they do no daily cleaning....they did it here, which i appreciate. Bus wsas right outside my room. Excellent.

The Wonder View is in a good location, walkable to Bar Harbor attractions. plus it is a stop on one of the free shuttles that travel the area from the village. This hotel is just a few minutes drive from Acadia National Park. The rooms are a bit dated, very small bathroom but we did have a nice and peaceful view from our deck, back a ways from the busy road.

The room was spacious, well lit, convenient parking, very large tv. Older hotel that was managed by a nearby hotel. Awkward to drive to. Felt it was over priced.

Bar Harbor is expensive, so The Wonder View is a good value compared to nearby options. Bed was really comfortable and enjoyed the hot tub at Bluenose. Would have loved to have a vanity counter instead of just the tiny bathroom sink. Also great TV, but odd placement.
