Horrendous experience. The hotel isn’t a 4 star, complete scam. The blind curtains had holes, the bathroom is outdated and the shower head was leaking water into the room, smell of damp. Complained to reception the next day which couldn’t find an alternative and offered us to reimburse the remaining nights if we leave before 6pm, which he gladly accepted after the staff spoke to their manager on the phone and left. It’s been few months now and still not been reimbursed, Hotel.com didn’t support us regarding the reimbursement so will close my account soon. One more thing, a glass of Cava was 14€ (4€ on average everywhere else) and the pool on the roof is small compare to pictures with table and chairs literally on the edge of the pool (with people staring at you). Avoid at all costs.

If you have other options, take them! First night we got a room on the second floor. The double glass windows didn't close all the way, so street traffic noise was very annoying. To top it off, the light in the bathroom wouldn't turn off all night so we slept with street noise and lights on all night! We called the reception and it was only one person serving the whole hotel. Needless to say nothing was done until the next day when they switched us to a higher floor room. Not without atitutde of course! Speaking of the bathroom, the door is transparent, so if you're doing your business anyone in the room gets a view. One of the bathtowels had a hair on it. The bathroom tiles were patched all over. The location was close enough not take a car or transit but still far enough to require a lot of walking. Overall not a great stay.

The staff were lovely and very helpful. Room was nice and spacious however could hear the metro at points in the evening aswell as drilling occurring on one morning. The rooftop pool had stunning views of the city aswell as excellent choices for food in walkable distances.

Absolutely amazing! Building bf and facilities and modern and cute, very clean. The location is perfect. The staff are super friendly and helpful. I will return to this hotel next time I’m in Barcelona!

The breakfast served at the rooftop pool was great. Recommend if going to stay at this hotel in Barcelona to visit. For the first couple of days, the room was not cleaned when I returned from outside the property. Also, just FYI, the A/C in the room was like non-existent, and it was August in Barcelona, so you can assume it was super hot and humid. Also, I had an instance where I thought someone at 5 AM on two nights was trying to get into my room, so make sure to lock your door as super important if you are an âmerican tourist coming to Barcelona. I think they put âmericans in the older style rooms if booked on this site, even if you have status with Expedia, like I did myself. I probably wouldn't stay here again if I returned to Barcelona, but that's my own opinion on the stay. Also, just to make sure you are aware, when traveling in Barcelona in August, it smells like a sewage plant all around the city.
