Great location, just steps away from La Rambla and Liceu station. Basic, clean rooms. I was a bit surprised to find the exit door (which is also the only exit in case of fire) being locked one night when the person at reception was not around. I had to wait a few minutes and the finally call their telephone number (while standing right next to it) so I could get someone to come. This is a serious fire safety risk. To be fair, this happened only once out of the three nights we stayed. I hope they can figure out a better system (only block entry not exit) when there's no one at the reception.

Location is very convenient. Close to the city market where we went everyday to eat (too many fresh choices daily). The staff was awesome and accommodated us very well. Even we got there earlier they did not charge us extra to early check in. It is an European hotel, but not extremely small like usual. But be aware of the balcony there’s a step there I didnt see and twisted my foot. But just be aware. The rest was all great! Would stay there again. The restaurant next door was very good.

John and the kids.
It was a great place to stop for the weekend, two nights it was a shame we couldn't stop for the full three nights due to flight difficulties. There was a lift which helped my knees. The view from the balcony was excellent. The furniture wasn't new but we enjoyed that because most places we stay look like an Ikea showroom. We preferred this. The only thing we couldn't find or was missing was an electric kettle and we do enjoy a cup of tea in the morning and it doesn't taste the same if he did in the saucepan. If we came again we would definitely stop here.
