THE ABSOLUTE BEST LOCATION POSSIBLE IN BARCELONA.



A wonderful, spacious, open plan Studio loft with 24 hour wifi connection if you bring your laptop. New air-conditioner and new, very comfortable and large bed. The absolute best location possible. You cannot be more centrally located. Passeig de Gracia is the most upmarket avenue of Barcelona with the best shops and Gaudi buildings. Casa Batllo and La pedrera are in the same avenue. Being on the corner of Plaza Catalunya, puts you in the heart of the city with the best public transport connections, the airport shuttle bus and of course, most things of interest within walking distance.
This is a wonderful gem in every way: Excellent large Studio Loft with oodles of character within an extremely elegant turn of the century modernista building, AND, with the best location possible - PASSEIG DE GRACIA/PASEO DE GRACIA.

Just look at a map and you can see immediately that an apartment on PASSEIG DE GRACIA, seconds from the famous LAS RAMBLAS is a real find! This is THE address in Barclona. The Studio Loft is part of a beautiful grand building as one would expect from the location, PASSEIG DE GRACIA - THE ADDRESS IN BARCELONA.

You enter into a wonderful marble hall with elaborate wrought iron work, stained glass and an extremely elegant staircase. You can see immediately that this is a very fine building indeed. There are two glass lifts/elevators up to the fifth floor where the spacious, very high ceilinged, Studio Loft is located in the 'Mansard' - excellent views.

As you enter you immediately notice the space of this comfortable Studio Loft with enormously high wooden cathedral style ceilings - I could easily add another floor but like the feel and character of this home as it is.
The bathroom is also spacious with bathtub, shower, bidet etc etc.
The kitchen area has all that is needed for a very comfortable stay - naturally all crockery, cutlery etc is provided.
Here you will find an oven, burners, toaster,coffee makers, electric kettle, microwave, fridge, washing machine etc etc. The Studio Loft has a warm, cosy feel and has not been furnished in a cold manner. The living area is very comfortable and cosy and naturally fully furnished with armchair, sofa, bookshelves, TV, music centre, cupboard space, dining table and chairs. The sleeping area has a new comfortable, large bed which is 2meters x 2 meters - very nice! Ample wardrobe space.

Naturally it is fully air conditioned and heated. What more can I say??This is truly an exceptional property in the absolute best position possible in town!! I consider this to be of very good value.

Just seconds from Plaza Catalunya and therefore a two minute walk to the famous Las Ramblas and the Gothic Quarter. PASSEIG DE GRACIA of course has the famous Gaudi buildings, Casa Batllo and La Pedrera PLUS all the best shops in town!! All within literally minutes of the Studio. The Location could not be bettered.

To cover some basics - Yes, all linen, towels, cutlery, crockery etc are provided. .Please bring your own face cloths though - they are personal..

The supermarket is located just a minute away and is open till 9:30pm nightly (except Sundays). I shall be pleased to answer any questions you may have regarding your stay in this lovely mediterranean city and happy to welcome you to this super Studio Loft.

AVAILABLE ONLY FOR 1 OR 2 RESPONSIBLE ADULTS . If you have a young child, a three seater sofa is available but this is not a sofa bed. This is not a party place!

Notre sejour fut trÚs agreable! Endroit trÚs central, parfait pour marcher dans le coeur de la ville ou pour un accÚs au métro ou aux autobus. Derek a pu nous accomoder en nous permettant d'aller porter nos baggages à l'appartement plus tÎt. L'endroit est propre, securitaire, confortable.

The Heart of Barcelona

This large Studio Apartment, was truely in the heart of Barcelona. A 5th Floor apt in a beautiful and well kept building. large enough for x4 people, but i would deffinately say, fantastic for a couple. You walk out of the impressionate iron and glass doors onto the street in the morning, and you are instantantly hit with the adoring atmosphere of a great city. Although located next to the frenetic Placa Catalunyu, the apartment was peaceful and well sound proofed with a very attractive view from the windows. From the moment we walked in, we felt comfortable and at home, it was almost a crime to leave the apt ;-)), but Barcelona is a wonderful city to explore. There was attention to detail, with flowers and wine on arrival. It was clean and attractive. We visited in January, and the heating and hot water worked perfectly, although the weather was an excellent 16°c when we were there. We had a minor problem with the toilet 'flush', but Derek the owner had it corrected immediately, and his attentiveness was well noted and appreciated. I do not wish to compliment this apartment any further, as i fear it will become too popular, and i may not be able to book it again in the autumn. The open top tour bus, which you can catch 300m from the apt, is a great way to start your trip as it gives you a good bearing of the city. Visit Casa Batllo (600m from apt) an absolute must, as well as the Boukeria Market, 10 mins walk from apt along La Rambla. My final tips are to take a guided tour of the Palau Musica Catalana (10 mins walk from apt), and take a cocktail or two at the wonderful 'El Nacional' centre (just 6mins walk from apt) A heartfelt thankyou Derek

In an ideal central location, this studio is perfect for a short stay in Barcelona. Lovely stay!

We loved the spacious apartment in the heart of Barcelona! Comfy bed. Great views. Friendly host! Having come from USA the streets were different but we figured everything out. Ideal Location & Space

The owners were fantastic with communication and instructions, and so kind. The apartment is lovely and comfortable. The bed’s mattress and pillows are memory foam and the best I’ve ever had on vacation! The location is outstanding and in the heart of the city. We walked everywhere. The Aerobus from the airport was easy and the City Center stop is 2 minutes from the apartment. We can’t say enough about our fantastic experience. Highly recommend!!!

Center of it all!

Perfect apartment for two wanting to explore everything that Barcelona has to offer. Great location - was able to get to the beaches, the old city, the new city, and many points of interest within a 15 minute walk or short taxi ride. Barcelona getaway

My husband enjoyed our 4 night stay in this charming studio apartment right in the heart of Barcelona. The bed was comfortable, and there were lots of towels and pillows. The apartment has great views, and the security in the lobby makes it feel very safe. It was easy for us to walk to various sites like the Gothic Quarter or Las Ramblas. The public transportation system is clean and super easy to use. We took the train to Sagrada Family and to the beach. We also took the 24 bus straight to the entrance of Parc GĂŒell. This apartment is a comfortable oasis in the middle of the bustling city.

Wonderful stay at the heart of the city

Our time on Barcelona was only enhanced by Derek's beautiful property. As soon as we entered, we were delighted by the views and amenities the space offered. Most importantly, this location was absolutely ideal for the activities we had planned in the area, including our Flamenco show right next door and our nearby bike tour we had the following morning. We also learned later that this particular area of Barcelona is known to be one of the most sought after residential districts in the city, which made us feel more special to have stayed. I would highly recommend you book this spot if there is any availability! Thank you for everything, Derek!

Second Stay at a Great Place

Nice flat at best location to explore Barcelona. Aerobus stop to and from CDG airport less than five minutes from door. Metro stop just outside door. Right at Placa Catalunya, the center of things. I foolishly locked items in the flat when we left and the caretaker responded within five minutes to retrieve them. If it wasn't a great place, we would not have come a second time.
