Last minute overnight stop

Hotel is undergoing a major refurb. I was on the 2nd floor. Room was recently refurbished so very clean, comfortable and all good. Staff very attentive, friendly and food served very quickly. Prices were very reasonable.

Fabulous!

Really nice room. I stayed in a superior double on the second floor and I think these have recently been refurbished. The room was spotless and really nicely done out. The receptionist was really lovely and check in/out was very efficient. Would definitely stay again

Cannon hall visit

Myself and my sister stopped for 3 nights,as we visited cannon hall farm event,staff were friendly and helpful,the hotel was very clean,meals were very good,great choice and even wrapped up food for us as we were full up with generous portions,nothing was to much trouble for them,lovely stay,met some lovely people that were staying there another lady lone travalling,most enjoyable

Overall good

Overall condition good. Cold tap in basin did not work. Was not repaired during our 2 day stay . Hopefully will be fixed for next occupants

A hiccup with the first room immediately changed to new accommodation. Good nights sleep in a tired but clean room with adequate lighting, clean and warm room. Staff lovely and helpful, breakfast plenty and quickly cooked fresh. Evening meal for four adults fresh and filling. Not the Hilton but nice enough bed for the night

Comfy stay for a budget price

We booked this hotel for convenience as visiting a local attraction and booked a Standard room. It was ok accommodation that had a comfy enough bed, hanging space for clothes in an open style wardrobe, fan, small tv, tea and coffee making facilities and soap in the bathroom. No hairdryer or guest information other than breakfast and restaurant menus but local info was available in reception along with a vending machine. The room was clean but dated and the lamps and chairs were stained and carpet faded, could really do with a freshen up but, as I said, it was a cheap stay. We booked room only but did dine in the restaurant on the first evening and had breakfast on the 1st morning, both of which were nice and all the staff are so friendly and happy to help. We would stay here again if we needed to but may invest in a room upgrade
