The Beach Club is the better option over the hotel rooms. They share the same resort but beach club is a condo-like setup with multi bedrooms, full kitchen, living room and washer and dryer. Property is more “corporate” than authentic Caribbean, but you can get the local feel by going to other beaches and places for dining and sightseeing. Food is only average - far better dining is available within walking distance or by short taxi ride. Property is extremely clean.

Worth the money!

Pros: Quiet, short walking distance to the beach and pool, close supermarkets via taxi, family-friendly
Cons: Nothing close, overpriced and watered down drinks, weak wi-fi signal
The room was really close to the pool and the beach. The units have no elevators, so make sure to request a ground level room. You are truly better off buying groceries and cooking because the food and drinks at the resort are overpriced and not that good. Save the $$$ and spend it on the spa or snorkeling! Any taxi can take you to the closest Ram's or Best Buy (supermarkets). All take US Dollars but remember your change will be in Caribbean money. All of the Local T.V. channels are out of Miami. Make sure to find out if the maid will clean each day because if they believe that you are a unit owner they will only come once a week. Also, the wi-fi signal is pretty weak but then again you shouldn't be doing work when you are on vacation!
