Private Yurt with AC & Heating.

Unplug and unwind in Texas country with a temperature controlled Yurt. Bring your pup and hang out next to the fire pit or take 10 minutes to drive to historic Bastrop to enjoy great restaurants, live music, and shopping.
The space
The Yurt is positioned in a very secluded area on 5.5 acres. We strive to make staying at the yurt the perfect combination of home comfort and outside relaxation.
Outside you will find a small firepit area with all logs, fire starters, magic fire color packets are all included. The outside kitchen has hot water, pots, and a grill with a burner. Lastly, the bath house has an outside shower (not heated), sink, and Toilet. There is a top of the line composting toilet that has almost no smell and cleaned/emptied regularly.

Inside is just over 300 sq feet with laminate florring and a AC/Heating unit powerful enough to cover 3 times the space to help with that Texas heat and Winter cold. There is a queen sized bed as well as a couch that folds into a full sized bed. There is a coffee maker, free coffee, kettle, and place settings for 4.

Where water and power runs to the area there is no running water inside of the yurt. However, the water from the sink is fantastic and pulls from our well and filter on property.

We live at the top of the property so if there is anything you need please let us know or if there is any issues we will be there right away to help.

This yurt was the perfect cozy getaway the family and I were looking for! The hot tub under the stars was incredibly relaxing, but the real highlight was the adorable owl that visited us during our nightly fires. It added such a special, whimsical touch to the trip. The accommodation was clean, comfortable, and unique. I highly recommended!

Second time visiting and I always want to come back!!

Last time I came in December and although I really enjoyed the hot tub, the best time of year is definitely now. I was able to enjoy the hot tub, the campfire, the grill, and the outdoor shower! The lights that surround the cabin are the most beautiful thing there is without a doubt and listening to the sounds of nature is incredible, we definitely enjoyed it a lot!! Owners are really kind and always explain well every detail! Definitely we are coming back (:

Pleasant get away from the city!

Very happy with our stay here at the yurt, it feels secluded yet homey, walk towards the yurt is pleasant too, passed a small pond and the place is decorated with lights at night. You can see the stars even without turning off the yard lights. Bed and sofa bed are comfortable too, we stayed here while we explored city of Austin during the day. Hosts are very responsive and nice. Highly recommended!

Peaceful Getaway

I came to the yurt for a peaceful therapeutic weekend away and that’s exactly what I got. I had a lovely time. I didn’t avail myself of the amenities of the hot tub, grill, fire pit etc, but I would love to on a future visit. I would absolutely stay at the yurt again.

Perfect - restful and comfortable!

My husband and I stayed here after a visit to the Sherwood Forest Faire. We LOVED the yurt! It's extremely clean, cheerful and had everything we needed. The bed was so comfortable! Hosts were really accommodating and responsive and even reached out proactively to offer a late checkout (which we were happy to take advantage of). The hot tub was a nice touch and was clean and easy to use. The yurt is an easy drive to Bastrop's shopping and restaurants as well. Definitely recommend for a unique and peaceful stay!

The perfect getaway!

The property was great! It was a nice peaceful break from the chaos of life. The hot tub was fun and the fire pit was nice to relax by after a long day exploring the Renaissance Faire! The outdoor shower was so nice. Such a fun experience! The bed was super comfy and the host were incredible! Very helpful and nice. They made my birthday trip a memorable one! We will definitely be back!

So Freakin Cool!

This was our first time staying in a yurt and 10/10 recommend! The place was situated with a lot of privacy and had everything you need. Ian was a fantastic host. We ran out of propane for the grill and he brought one over within minutes. It’s about 15 mins from the town and was the perfect staycation getting out of Austin.
