Compared to the Z Hotel in Holborn (which was ok), this one was stellar! The staff was very warm and lovely, my room was so nice with a lovely view on Bath, what a treat! I preferred the bathroom there. It was smaller than the one in Holborn but better organised with a proper door on the shower. Modern, lovely and well located hotel (even though I had an issue finding it using Google Maps!, it’s actually nestled between the Five Guys and the Lane 7 - don’t worry you can’t smell any fried food nor hear any ruckus!) thanks for a great but short stay!

Liked friendly efficient staff. Bed comfortable. Breakfast excellent. Cafe good. Did not like light switch out of reach of bed, tiny waste bin, no towel rail, insecure wifi (no password protection), only one electric socket,limited channels and no subtitles on tv.

Great location, but not ideal for families Pros: The location is excellent—just a 5-minute walk to the Roman Baths, Jane Austen Centre, and Parade Gardens, with plenty of restaurants and shops nearby. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Cons: We’re a family of four (with two teenage boys), and the largest room available was surprisingly small, with no windows and very limited lighting. It felt more like sleeping in a cave, which really threw off our circadian rhythms over our 3-night stay. The room was also missing basic amenities like a tissue box and hair conditioner. Housekeeping is only provided after the second night, which isn’t ideal for longer stays. There’s no gym on-site, and the “happy hour” was just a single glass of wine—underwhelming for the hype. Overall, this might work for solo travelers or couples who don’t mind a very dark, minimal space—but not a great fit for families or those looking for comfort and natural light.

Compact but very well laid out and functional.

This was the first time that we have used the Z hotels and it turned out to be a pleasant surprise. The room is only as wide as the length of the double bed, however the design of the facilities was excellent and the shower room was so well laid out it was better than some larger hotel bathrooms. We would stay again.

Love the location, staff, price

The location was excellent, the staff was so very helpful and friendly - thank you Richard! The property itself is in good condition. Great air conditioning in the compact room. The bed was not our favorite, but everything else pretty much made up for it. I am never a fan of a duvet.
