The property is under a complete renovation and the main front entrance is closed, fenced off. I did not see this when booking thru another site but we got a great rate, room is fine, everything seems to be running normal otherwise
Fabulous breakfast as usual, staff was wonderful. Loved the shower.
This property is in a great location. BUT it would have been nice to have been told that the property is currently being renovated and is a real mess, out side especially making parking a pain. For the price I paid I felt like I wasn't getting the bang for the buck like you usually do at a Hampton Inn.
Very polite staff. Especially the young lady who worked on the evening shift. She was outstanding!!!

Property was undergoing exterior construction which limited parking. Carpeting was dirty and vacuuming inefficient. Bathroom was clean but need to clean shower head also.
A new management company took over during our stay so hopefully things will improve.

Hotel is going through some renovation on both interior and exterior so it’s unfair to comment on the condition when it’s getting addressed. But I will say that the environment around the hotel is absolutely stunning! The parking spaces in front of the pool should be relocated to open up the lovely view of the marsh from the pool deck without cars blocking that view. Majestic live oaks dripping with Spanish moss complete the view.
Unfortunately the roof of the hotel was undergoing major repairs. My room was on the top floor and on the back side where the equipment was stored/used and where a the metal cutting was occurring. Those rooms should have been left vacant for the duration of the work as it was extremely noisy during the hours of 0800 until 1800
Great place to stay. Jade was amazing and took care of everything with kindness and care. Hotel was clean and the staff was the friendliest I’ve ever met.
I called the hotel directly and was told there were no rooms available on the side I wanted that night. I immediatley went to hotels.com and saw rooms priced more than $100 less than the price I was given by the front desk. Booked through hotels.com and got the room on the side I wanted. Unfortunately this was the first time I'd used hotels.com and was asked for my credit card at the front desk who charged me again for the room. Turned out it was a new employee's mistake, but I didn't get any sleep after being told I'd have to take the double charge up with hotels.com. The manager was able to issue the hotel's refund the next morning. Great motel but the pillows are terrible.
A word of advice: never book a room when the hotel is undergoing a renovation! If a hotel could feel like a 3rd world country, this would be the one. Only one elevator in the entire building which warns you with a bi-lingual sign that 4 persons is too much of a load! There are signs when you get on that this might not be a good idea: no floors are designated and the operation panel was ready to fall off. The view from our room was that of the rooftop over the entrance with weeds growing out of the accumulated dirt and leaves over the years. No extra charge for that view. And the bathroom seemed to be up-to-date until you take a shower. The handle was loose and would adjust the water temperature without a wink. The water coming out of the sink faucet was so weak it was almost useless. Not sure if these complaints are on their renovation list, but they sure should be! Shame on Hilton to allow this under your brand.
