This private 544 sq ft nautical-themed bungalow features one large room with an open sleeping loft (the 2nd bedroom) overlooking the main floor.

Downstairs is furnished with two rockers, a sofa, a comfortable queen-size bed, a TV, and a dining table.

The loft has a full bed & twin bed.

The kitchenette has basics but is not equipped for cooking full meals (microwave, Keurig, small toaster oven, small fridge).

Sleeping for 4-5. Ideally 2 adults and 3 kids or 4 adults. Off-street parking & room for a boat trailer with prior permission. No Pets or Smoking

A unique home away from home, this recently constructed bungalow is equipped to make your stay in Beaufort fun and comfortable. There is plenty of outdoor seating and lovely gardens to enjoy.

The location is ideal—just off Front Street and Taylors Creek. A pleasant waterfront walk/bike ride will take you downtown to its many shops and restaurants. Meander along the boardwalk, see boats from near and far, and enjoy local flavors at many waterfront restaurants.

If you have bikes, kayaks, or your own boat, bring them...Beaufort is a bike, kayak, and boating-friendly town with convenient bike racks and public water access. If you'd rather, you can rent bikes, kayaks, and even golf cars nearby.

Public tennis/pickleball courts, an outdoor community basketball court, and a KID'S SPLASH PAD are also within easy walking distance.

There is ample off-street parking for your car and boat (but please contact the owner in advance if bringing a boat)

There's a lot to do in Beaufort.

- Take a ferry to Shackleford Banks or Cape Lookout lighthouse to enjoy the beach and waves.

- Rent kayaks or take a kayak tour.

- There are many tours--something for everyone-- a foodie, a ghost tour, a historic graveyard tour (fascinating).

- Guided bike tours.

- Visit NC Maritime Museum downtown.

- Drive to the Core Sound Waterfowl Museum and Heritage Center on Harkers Island.

- During the summer months, there is live music downtown.

- Atlantic Beach, Fort Macon State Park and the NC Aquarium are a short drive.

- Deep-Sea Charter Fishing is available nearby.

We stayed in this bungalow for a total of four nights and five days. We were pleasantly surpised by all the details that had been provided to meet our needs. The bungalow was immaculate and well stocked with everything we could possibly need. We had plenty of room and were even able to park our 20ft. boat under the carport. Our host were available and provided great information about the beautiful Beaufort area, including fishing areas. We had a great stay and even caught Blues and Mackeral to take home. We will definantely book this bungalow again in the future!

Easy walk to downtown restaurants and Beaufort waterfront and easy drive to Harkers Island, Morehead City and the NC Aquarium in Pine Knolls Shore. It was clean and just perfect. The Bungalow was in a perfect spot in Beaufort. Easy to get to shops and restaurants. We parked our vehicle (plenty of off street parking), and rode our bikes everywhere. Shops and restaurants were great. The hosts, Dave and Clara were super helpful with recommendations. We took a ferry to Shackleford island and collected lots of beautiful conch and other shells, saw several wild ponies and had a super dolphin siting from the ferry. The Bungalow was super cute, very clean and fully equipped. The yard was beautiful with fountains and gardens everywhere. Very quiet.I would highly recommend this property.

The Bungalow is a lovely and clean space that was perfect for a weekend stay. It has character and charm and sits conveniently in the heart of Beaufort. Our four family members utilized the kitchenette for breakfast and for packing lunches and slept comfortably; this rental is a much better alternative to a hotel. The owners were prompt, informative, and kind in their communications. We hope to stay there again.

The Beaufort Bungalow was perfect. My wife and young daughter stayed for 2 nights and its location allowed us to easily explore Beaufort, Morehead City and Atlantic Beach/Emerald Isle. The cottage itself is so cozy in a beautiful setting very close to the downtown Beaufort waterfront. My daughter loved the loft area. Would definitely stay here again. Had an opportunity to meet both Dave and Clara and both were super nice and helpful.

This bungalow is as charming as the town! It sits back in beautifully landscaped gardens with fountains, hammocks, and of course, rocking chairs. The bungalow even has its own cozy porch with a porch swing, rocking chairs and table. It's perfect for reading or enjoying your morning coffee. Inside the bungalow, you will be swept away in a tastefully decorated nautical dream. The attention to detail is outstanding, with flags and a rope banister tied with boating knots. The hosts, Clara and Dave, are wonderful! They are friendly, helpful, and full of Beaufort history. We truly enjoyed our stay and plan on returning as soon as we can.

Great weekend getaway at the beach

Cute little bungalow in a great location near downtown Beaufort. Part of the city including our property lost power my first night in town and Dave was very helpful in providing flash lights and making sure I was settled, which seems emblematic of how they are as hosts. There were a lot of resources provided and Dave and Clara seem genuinely interested in Helping you enjoy their longtime home city. I would love to stay again in the future!

It’s close enough to enjoy all the restaurants and shopping downtown has to offer, yet tucked away in a beautifully maintained garden that feels peaceful and secluded. A Wonderful Experience
