Private 2 bedroom Cabin with Large Covered Deck

Welcome to Lynn's Retreat, our country cabin where you can relax and get away from it all. Sit on our large covered deck and watch nature at her best. It's possible to see deer, turkey, fox and our resident ground hog. There is one bedroom with a queen bed and a loft with twin beds. The view is incredible from the loft and the front deck. Cozy up to the gas fireplace or the outdoor fire pit. No need to wash dishes as there is a dishwasher, also a full size stove with oven, and a small refrigerator. You can wash your clothes before going home in the washer/dryer unit. We recently installed central heat and air, also.
Just bring yourself, personal items, your favorite movies, books and/or music and sit back and enjoy. Towels, bed sheets, trash bags, all cooking utensils are provided. We are located within a 30 minute drive from five different lakes for fishing. You can also visit our local Amish Store and Bakery. Check-in is 4:00 pm and check-out is 11:00 am.
We hope you'll enjoy your stay and that you feel at home.

I would give this place more than 5 stars if that were possible! A Photos do not do it justice because it's absolutely beautiful. The area is so private and quiet. We loved all the little extras; the record player with a diverse collection of music, board games & movies. Cabin is well stocked with everything you need, especially the kitchen. We cooked a lot & it was effortless. Comfy beds. AC & hot water worked perfectly. I would definitely recommend this cabin to anyone looking to really unplug and relax. Fantastic stay!

Great cabin! Driveway is too narrow for a full size truck. But its very clean, quiet, & peaceful without wifi. We didnt mind a bit. Beds comfortable, they supplied us with all the comfort we needed. Highly recommend!

What a great, quaint, clean property. This was perfect for what I needed. There were two adults and two teenagers and we were looking for a quiet place located away from the busy world. This sure was the spot! The check-in process was easy, communication from the host was very timely. The location was perfect
. On a quiet country road nestled not too far from rural highways. The cabin was spotless , well-appointed and very well managed. There was no Wi-Fi (which I knew when booking), and the cellphone signal (Verizon) was sketchy at best
. But that was Ok. We needed to unplug, and it was perfect for that. I will likely stay here again when in the area! Thank you for such a beautiful home!

Wedding Anniversary Stay

It was very clean. Everything we needed was provided except food of course. There was no wifi(which the host informed me about)but we found things to watch on the tv and there was a really cool record player. It is actually a really nice cabin to stay in. Pretty secluded as well. Would definitely stay here again.

What an absolute wonderful little cabin! Everything was great. The hosts have thought of everything! Only problem was the driveway, but there had been a lot of rain in the area so extra holes are not anyone’s fault. Stayed for a volleyball tournament and will definitely be back again!!

Long Weekend in Beaver!

This place is awesome! If you want to be secluded this is that place! The cabin appears to be brand new and is great to hang out in and relax. We were there over a weekend were a couple inches of snow fell, and it was beautiful! I can only imagine what it's like in the summer! The host was responsive to a few questions we had regarding the place. Would definitely stay again!

I cleaned the cabin. I wash the bed sheets and put the others on. Mopped and swept and vacuum. The cabin was very cleaned and a beautiful place. I definitely be back. Perfect place to unplug

We decided we needed a few days to rest and unplug from the world. We brought our favorite books and board games, though there were plenty on site as well, and enjoyed meals cooked on the grill. Exactly what we were hoping for.

We absolutely enjoyed our stay. There were plenty of amenities, from towels, bathroom items, kitchen items, blankets, sheets, coffee, tea, etc. much appreciated. Beauty and Peacefulness - Inside and Outside!

Climbing the front steps, we were immediately greeted by the amazing porch which made me want to sit down immediately and soak in the great view and the fresh air. Upon opening the front door, I was relieved with how clean and charming the cabin was. The online pictures are true to the actual cabin. There were all kinds of little extra touches that went above being functional and totally added to the delight of being there. We would definitely return! We hiked at Hocking Hills one day which is of course a treat but if you want to avoid the crowds, we recommend Lake Katherine for a hike where you can just enjoy God's creation in tranquility. Patricia told us about it and if was so peaceful and beautiful. The whole weekend was a blessing!
