Nice, but simply too small for a family.

Family room was, whilst nicely decorated, too small to be comfortable for a family of four. The website photos do a great job of hiding this fact. Wouldnt recommend the family rooms for a family tbh.

I did not appreciate being asked to pay 1£ per bag for charity to have my bags checked while we spent 2 extra hours after checkout — I am generous charity donor but I found this to be very petty as you are a professional hotel with expensive enough rates. Do you need an extra pound to check my bag for 2 hours? A bit of a money grab which I’m sorry I did not appreciate and left a sour taste to the overall nice experience of your hotel. I wouldn’t recommend now. Just left a bad taste.

This was a nice hotel on an excellent location. The room was newly renovated. I would have given 5 stars but the breakfast let it down. Most of it was over done. Iv had buffet style breakfast at a lot of hotels. But bacon was solid as was black pudding and haggis. There was however a decent choice of other things.

Clean hotel room and bathroom. Staff was very friendly and helpful ay check in. Unfortunately the tv channels did not have signal. Only was able to watch news and marketing channels. The room also lacked a refrigerator.

Good all round stay!

Bed was comfortable, and the pillow were excellent! Good location, the only thing was the bathroom. Wood work was tired and the bathroom (was painted cream) was equally tired. Good stay!
