I love Fort George because it has always created outdoor space to enjoy the essence of Belize. The staff is the absolute best demonstration Belizean love of others. They perform thier jobs as if its not a job. I recommend Fort for a true Belizean upscale experience.

Fort George was so great I can’t wait to come back. The staff was so helpful upon arrival. Kelsie answered any questions I had , they have a great taco Thursday , and the restaurant there is amazing. Fort george also had a great spa service and a great lounge for me to get work done. I wish I would’ve enjoyed their pool and gym more but this is hands down the best place to stay in Belize city thank you guys so much for the love you showed .

Property was really great with clean rooms, a good gym and a nicely maintained (but small) swimming pool. The supper in the restaurant was really great/ tasty, breakfast was a la carte (rather than a buffet) which was not as nice. The hotel is well situated for the port, museum and other things - but note that the overall general area is quite run down and does not feel all that safe.
