This is the perfect hotel in the ideal place for my annual trip to Bend, but new money grabs and unnecessary charges will stop me from going there again. They charge to park your own car in their parking lot ($12 per day), provide free, terrible Internet that is unusable — forcing you to pay for the Wi-Fi that works —and authorize $30 per day for incidental charges instead of a single flat amount. When noting the differences from the last time I visited, I was met with defensiveness rather than acknowledging the differences and understanding how they might not be received well. Sadly, greed and hotel-first thinking are taking over, and I will now stay elsewhere.

You could improve by not charging me to park my car overnight at the place I’m staying! How else would I get there? Seems ridiculous when you could just raise the price by 20 dollars and not look greedy. Will be looking else where now. Don’t shy away from the hotel because it is centrally located and a nice place if you don’t mind paying to park

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The property is beautiful, the staff were friendly and helpful, the rooms were clean and beautiful, and the bed was so comfortable! We will stay there again, and will recommend this hotel to anyone we know that is staying in Bend!

I love the proximity to shops and restaurants. The hotel is weaved into the area’s trails and pathways. A nice bridge takes you across the river to restaurants like Monkless Brewery and Gourmet Burgers and Brew. Right across the street is a large dog and separate small dog park, which was great for our little mini pup. If I ever stay in Bend again, I will definitely make staying at the Hampton with its nice hot tub, 24/7 front desk, and yummy breakfasts.

Had a good stay. we have been coming to this location for over five years and a recent policy change was disappointing at best. Why start charging $12 dollars a day for parking. They have not done this before. Terrible public relations and what idiot in marketing thought this was a good idea for your guests? If you need the money (???) add it into the room price not a tacky add on when you visit and check in. Nice reward for being an Honors member being billed $12 additional dollars a day for parking in a lot that you own with no security. Sad and unwise decision.
