Spend your days surfing, fishing and swimming like the locals do at Dee beach and Flat Rock - only a short walk from house.

This coastal classic features three bedrooms, open plan kitchen, dining and lounge area.

Ceiling fans in all the bedrooms and gas fire place, this is a perfect home away from home, no matter what the weather is doing.

Bed linen and bath towels provided.

A fully fenced spacious yard will keep the children and pet in and the local kangaroos out.

In the bathroom is a large claw foot bathtub, shower, toilet and laundry with front loader washing machine.

Undercover verandas with gas BBQ.

Almost everything was great. Some things were not as clean as expected.

The only complaint was that a few things were not as clean as they could have been. Particularly kitchen utensils and contents of kitchen draws.Bed linen, towels etc, were absolutely fine.

Quaint house near the beach

We enjoyed our stay in this comfortable house in bushy peaceful Bendalong very close to the beach. However, not really set up for cooking, no bakeware, no microwave suitable cookware and an odd collection of saucepans. Also broken oven.

Great family holiday in a peaceful location

I think that this is the 4th or 5th stay at this rental. The location is the best on the south coast if you like to have a peaceful holiday and on some days you can have an entire beach to yourself. The house has everything you need and for only 3 bedrooms it is pretty spacious. We always enjoy our stay and that's why we keep returning every year.

Another lovely stay

We have stayed multiple times, and I am sure will continue to return as we always enjoy the ease and unpretentiousness of this beach house! It has everything needed for a cosy and comfortable stay - well equipped kitchen, well kept yard, inside and outside space to relax depending on weather.

cold, dirty and in need of some TLC

I was so excited about our weekend in Bendalong, however this excitement faded when we entered the property. It was very cold with great heating in the lounge room but nothing in the bedrooms which was highly unsafe for my friend's newborn, thank goodness she brought a heater with her. I appreciate that pets are allowed but I certainly didn't expect doghair on the doona covers. Thank goodness we don't have a dog hair allergy. The next challenge was making dinner. We decided on having roast chicken but unfortunately there really wasn't enough kitchen accessories to use one roasting pan for the meat and one for vegetables. the oven was quite unsafe as it wasn't secured in the cupboard space it was in. the door fell open and the oven shot forward, we almost lost our dinner on the floor! Finally I must mention the mouse. Night one I was awoken by rustling in the kitchen area. I got up to come face to face with the said mouse. It clearly ran all round the open lounge area as there was mmouse poo all over the sofa. Come night 2 we ensured all food was hidden away, this did not stop our mouse, there was evidence everywhere. It left poo everywhere: the plate draw, the dining room table, pan cupboard, the bathroom, It left eveidence of it's journey, it ate the back of my earring, pooed in my toilet bag and even went in the baby's change bag, there was poo in there and it ate through a roll of clean nappy bags. I am so surprised by shabby condition of this property considering the price we paid. I will not stay or recommend this property to anyone.

Amazing location

Cute house in an amazing location. We loved walking to Flat Rock Beach and Washerwoman’s was also beautiful. The house was well equipped and comfortable. Cleanliness could definitely be improved and some of the linen and decor was quite daggy and sometimes grubby. We will return to the area and try a different house next time!

Great cottage

Great location, access to beaches and national parks, fully fenced yard was perfect for kids and dog, neighbours were fantastic, plenty of wildlife, well appointed. Property could do with a good clean out of spidas/cobwebs, fixing of minor items (ceiling fan, fly screens etc), cleaning or updating the mattress protectors would be nice. Note the bathroom and laundry are in a single room, not sure if this is clear in the property photos, no issue just worth mentioning

Clean & well presented. Particularly enjoyed the Netflix. Great location close to beach.

Located in extraordinarily beautiful setting. Only 1 negative & not the fault of the owners or rental agency. Just unlucky to be next door to people who partied all Saturday night. From 2300 & still going strong at 0900. Very inconsiderate but ‘just unlucky for us’.
