This is not a brand new facility, but the owner makes it clean and fun; pool and spa. The guy that was there for us, maybe the owner, was great, provided good service throughout the weekend. Rooms were clean, common spaces in perfect shape. Walking distance to several restaurants.
Check in was great. The process was smooth. I had been driving all afternoon on a Sunday and just wanted to feed my nine year old and get rest. Front desk gave me an awesome recommendation for food and we got a great nights rest. Spent the next day on the mountain.
It was very quiet and the common room for gathering was a huge bonus. Thereâs a large fireplace, game tables, and decorated simply relaxing. Would stay again! Very well maintained and service was professional and friendly.
Fantastic! We plan to return in the next two months! My fiance and I stayed here for snow and ski at Stratton. We LOVED the 1960âs-1970âs style of the rooms but everything was so clean well kept we felt right at home and comfortable (unlike staying at larger chain hotels where you feel you need to check for bed bugs no matter what -not here!) Owner/Manager was extremely warm and friendly and you can tell he cares about his little hotel. Kept the fireplace going, coffee station stocked, and had fresh towels ready and waiting for every time you wanted to use the hot tub! He even permitted us an allotted time to use said tub when all the time slots for the night were filled for the night.
Beautiful views of a brook behind the building from our room. We canât wait to come stay again when we return skiing!
I recently stayed near Mount Stratton and had a perfect experience. The hotel was cozy, quiet, and impeccably clean. Itâs in a great location with friendly staff. The lobby was a standout with its huge windows and a massive fireplace right in the middle, creating a warm atmosphere. Plus, there are fantastic restaurants nearby for lunch or dinner, and itâs not far from the mountain. Overall, I highly recommend it for a great balance of price and quality.
The room decor was retro and done beautifully, lots of room and a beautiful view of the creek from the window. The Recreation room was comfy and a was a good place to sit by the fire with a drink and relax.
Our room was attractive, spotless, comfortable, and quiet. Extra blankets and pillows, thick towels, a comfortable seating area where we ate our take-out dinner, the heat worked perfectly, and the view out the window of the backyard and creek was lovely. The owner was very helpful, and the diner literally across the street made breakfast easy and delicious. We would definitely stay here again.
Loved the place, the throw back ambiance to retro was much appreciated. Snacks when you arrive are a cool welcome. The hang out room was the cherry on top. Coffee and tea, loved it.
As you would expect, the throw back motels come with some natural noises from the people walking in their room upstairs or down the halls. Not an issue for me, my wife who is a lite sleep struggled but we managed. Overall, 9.5/10
