The studio apartment on the ground floor consists of a sleeping area, bathroom, fully equipped kitchen with an inviting dining area and a living area with a comfortable sofa bed and flat screen. It has a ceiling height of 3.40 m. In the sleeping area you sleep in a high quality king size box spring double bed and a sofa bed. On request, we can provide you with travel cots (60x 120 cm) and high chairs. Please contact us in advance. In the bathroom with shower, toilet and sink, we provide our guests with towels, hair dryer, soap and shampoo. There is also a washing machine, a tumble dryer and an ironing station available for use. The kitchen is fully equipped with a large fridge-freezer combination, ceramic hob & oven, coffee machine, kettle, toaster, pots, pans, plates, cups, glasses, cutlery, dishwasher and a variety of small items and extras ...

For drivers: Parking your car in front of the front door and in all surrounding streets is completely free and secure (public parking). Unfortunately, we cannot provide our own parking spaces.

Not so good.

This apartment is in a safe neighborhood with excellent access to public transport. It was clean and had plenty of storage space to unpack. However, the furniture was very low quality (the sofa bed tilted downwards on top and bottom), the dryer didn’t work well, the sofa bed linens had no pillow cases, the towels (we got one apiece) were thin and scratchy, and since the unit opens directly onto the street there was a lot of sidewalk noise. There was no shampoo; the ceiling light in bedroom was burnt out, the liquid soap containers were nearly empty, and there were no spices in the kitchen - not even salt!

The owners of the property were very professional and the location was excellent.

I would use VRBO and RockChair again for future vacation rentals and we had a great experience in Berlin. Museums, farmer’s markets, flea markets and the range and variety of restaurants were the highlights of the trip.

Great location!

The arrival and access of the apartment were super easy and we found it exactly as advertised. It is a cute little apartment with direct access from the street. Bikes can be parked in the courtyard and also safely locked on the street. The apartment is right on a nice foot/bicycle path marking the Berlin Wall's location. It is one block from a bakery in one direction and a beautiful wine bar in the other direction, and two blocks from a small health-food supermarket and a square with playground and cafe. Great location for our 3-day bike adventure in the city.

New apartment, small but has everything you need including clothes washing machine!

This new, small apartment is on a quiet street, but steps away from a major street that has a large grocery store and Metro station. It is so easy to buy the Metro day pass inside the Metro station and quickly get to everything. There is a convenience store in the same building.We liked the fact that is in not in the tourist section. We took the bus, tram, and Metro to the busy parts of town. We walked to the restaurant & bar on the major street near the house twice, and were able to talk to local people. Best part was we were able to wash clothes! If you book through VRBO, you will be paying all the city stay taxes upfront, and you do not need to pay anything additional while staying at this apartment.

Great location, beautifully equipped, responsive owner

We highly recommend the apartment for two people. It’s bright and cozy. Transportation is excellent. A good grocery store and several nice restaurants are within easy walking distance. The only disadvantage is that it has no deck or outside area to use.

Fantastic flat

This little flat is prefect for two with all the facilities you need, including dishwasher, washing machine, great water pressure. It is bright open and modern and situated in a great location only a few minutes walk from the U train and the tram is right on the door step, great for exploring the city. It is easy to access and on a quiet street. Nina was extremely helpful from booking right through to the last day of our stay and was very kind and understanding when we needed to shift our dates. I would definitely recommend a stay here if you visit Berlin!
