Clean, but Noisy

Generally clean, my biggest problem is the noise. The air conditioner is loud and wakes me up frequently at night. The housekeepers were very loud early in the morning. The shower drains are a large metal plate, you can hear the shower head dripping all night, I had to leave a washcloth on it to dampen the sound. I also sleep HOT in these beds. Ive stayed here a few times, and my experience is consistent.

Inexpensive room

Really basic hotel room. Graffiti on walls opposite window on bottom floor. Really rough and dingy towels. Didn’t clean room only left a couple of towels. No complimentary coffee or tea in lobby. Parking was in the shopping center parking lot $20. It was walkable to many restaurants. Area great for shopping.

Not a bad place at all, there were just a few quirks that keep it from getting a perfect rating. Parking was $20 extra per day (but at least it was close to the entrance). One of the elevators was broken and apparently has been for quite some time, which made for longer waits. The bathroom door was like a sliding glass panel that left a large gap - it couldn't be locked and might be awkward depending on who is staying with you. I was told by the front desk that the coffee in the room was $5, but it was not labeled to warn you...I don't agree with this practice, but don't know how typical it is. Most hotels I've stayed in offered complimentary coffee. Now for some positives...the hotel is very close to the metro (just a few blocks - Twinbrook station), which made getting into and out of DC a breeze, even for me. And there are a lot of shopping and eating options within walking distance. I definitely recommend staying here it as long as none of the negatives I mentioned are deal breakers.

Bad experience

Need to train your staff desk clerk did not informed anything about the property I was rushed at check in. They gave me a room where a diesel engine on our window was the wake up call no maid service they just dumped towels. I would not stay there ever again
