The resort is well situated for enjoying the countryside and accessing the River and Jungle trips. The resort may be 5 start for Nepal, but I would actually give it a 3.5 on US. The staff are spectacular and provided lots of support when our flights were cancelled for 3 days in a row.
Note that you are in the jungle and it was the end of the rainy season, but.... be ready for mold in your rooms and in the room air, in the furnishings. My daughter had asthma attacks non-stop. Rooms would benefit from improved air filtration, dehumidifiers and less upholstered furniture or more frequent washing with high heat drying. Note bring your own washcloths. And as everywhere else in Nepal the towels are harsh due to washing in hard water.
But again the staff are absolutely darling and the food is acceptable.
Our group of 7 students and faculty from my college had an incredible stay at Kasara Resort in Chitwan National Park. From airport transfers to check-out, everything was smooth and well-organized. The resort was clean, peaceful, and beautifully maintained. Rooms were comfortable, and the service throughout our stay was excellentâprofessional, welcoming, and attentive.
The food at the on-site restaurant was a highlight. Each meal was fresh and flavorful, and the servers were courteous and professional, enhancing every dining experience. We also enjoyed two game drives, both of which were outstanding.
A special thank you to our dedicated naturalist, Sujan. His knowledge of the flora and fauna of Nepal was impressive, and he took time to educate and inspire our entire group. He made the wildlife experience truly memorable.
The resort staff even helped us check in and secure boarding passes at the airportâjust one more example of their incredible service. Kasara exceeded our expectations in every way. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Chitwan, especially academic or student groups.
This hotel is excellent in both location and hospitality. The staff are all incredibleâfriendly, helpful, and welcoming. The room was nearly perfect, with the only issue being the water pressure in the shower, which could use improvement. The kitchen staff stood out for their kindness and assistance, especially Hitlar and Rohit, who were exceptionally sweet. However, I would suggest the chef pay more attention to the momo, as the dough was too stiff, and the filling lacked juiciness. That said, the mutton curry was an absolute 10/10! Overall, I have nothing negative to say about the teamâthey are warm, helpful, and truly caring. Although small mistakes occurred, they werenât a big deal, and I believe they can improve even further. Their thoughtfulness shone through when they arranged taxi pickups for us and helped with booking transport during a natural disaster. I am genuinely grateful for their outstanding hospitality. Thank you!
My husband and I loved Kasara Resort. It was very peaceful and relaxing with fantastic staff. The meals were brilliant. Each evening there was a buffet with a different theme so dinners were not repetitive. Activities on offer were excellent.
