A large wooden terrace with garden furniture allows you to enjoy the beautiful days, a ping-pong table is available. Uncovered parking inside the property. In the basement, possibility of using the washing machine, there is also a pantry. On the ground floor, kitchen with high table, dishwasher 6 persons, built-in oven, 3 gas burners; fridge ; living room ; dining room ; bedroom with dressing room; large bathroom and WC apart. The bed (160) is equipped with twin mattresses (2 x 80) shape memory and two electric bed bases to adapt his sleeping plan. On the first floor mezzanine with library, piano corner, two bedrooms (beds 140), one with shower room and separate WC. The sofa of the library is convertible into a bed of 140. Possibility to provide sheets and towels.

Lovely house and gardens

We had a lovely stay in this beautiful family home. It's about 45-50 mins walk to the centre of Biarritz, but only 5 mins or so walk to the train station, from which multiple buses run to the town centre on a regular basis, so really easy to get around. We were delayed on arrival due to traffic, but Christine left the keys out for us and checked that we'd arrived, leaving a lovely welcome pack in the fridge, and helpful instructions for using all the appliances. The only slight issue we had was initially not being able to use the air conditioning, which had been disabled. We'd specifically booked this house because it had air-conditioning in each bedroom and when we mentioned this, Christine helpfully told us how to re-enable it. We didn't need to use it much, but it was helpful as we acclimatized for the first few days. Lovely accommodation and great communication with the hosts - would recommend!

Cette maison a été idéale pour nos 2 semaines de vacances au Pays Basque : maison très agréable avec tout le confort tant à l’intérieur (3 chambres, 2salles de bains et 2 wc séparés, décorée avec goût, fraîche même sans utiliser les climatisations, grand salon cathédrale, cuisine équipée, machine à laver, wifi, tv, hifi…) qu’a l’extérieur avec une grande terrasse équipée notamment d’une plancha, jardin arboré sans vis-à-vis - un vrai avre de paix après des journées bien remplies !Elle etait par ailleurs idéalement située pour nos vacances découverte du Pays Basque puisque nous permettant de partir directement de la maison soit dans l’arrière pays (tous ces merveilleux villages depuis Saint Pee sur Nivelle jusqu’à Saint Jean Pied de Port) avec leurs maison typiques, fêtes, marchés , grottes…), dans les montagnes (plusieurs randonnées tous niveaux avec des vues incroyables à 360 degrés à la frontière avec l’Espagne), soit dans Biarritz, soit vers l’autoroute (5 min) pour nos excursions sur le littoral (plages, visites culturelles, sentier du littoral, fêtes/concerts) depuis Bayonne jusqu’à Fontarabie, San Sebastian et même Getaria en Espagne. Elle est par ailleurs située proche de la gare de Biarritz ce qui peut être facilitant pour la famille ou amis. Cette localisation apporte beaucoup de liberté et fait gagner du temps du fait du monde qu’il peut y avoir au centre des villes.Un grand merci aux adorables propriétaires pour ces vacances inoubliables en famille !

Sous le soleil de la Côte Basque

Très agréable séjour entre amis dans une maison typique du Pays Basque. Idéalement placée à deux pas du centre de Biarritz et de la plage d’Ibarritz accessible en vélo. Maison fonctionnelle avec une jolie terrasse et des propriétaires accueillants. Seul bémol, un petit dénivelé sur le carrelage de la terrasse à l'entrée sur lequel tout le monde à buté et où je me suis fracturée le 5 eme métatarse... Toutefois nous garderons un très bon souvenir de nos vacances dans cette magnifique région.

Wunderschönes Ferienhaus zum Entspannen

Wir haben das Haus für wunderschöne Ausflüge zum Strand, in die Stadt und zu großem Teil auch für die Umgegend genutzt. Sowie auch einfach zur Entspannung auf der Terrasse. Für alles ist es sehr gut geeignet. Die Vermieterin ist sehr freundlich, hilfsbereit und unkompliziert. Für Familien sehr zu empfehlen! Einziges Manko ist der Verkehr Richtung Stadt zu bestimmen Zeiten. Es geht zuweilen gar nichts mehr. Hier empfiehlt sich, den Bus vorzuziehen, der auch die gängigen Strände und die Innenstadt deutlich zügiger anfährt. So spart man sich auch die Parkplatzsuche, und die Haltestelle ist fußläufig vom Haus gut zu erreichen.

Une jolie maison basque dans un bel environnement

Nous avons passé de très bonnes vacances dans cette maison très confortable et parfaitement équipée. La grande terrasse bien exposée donne sur les bois et un très joli jardin. Tous les commerces sont à proximité et le bord de mer et les plages à 5minutes en voiture. A recommander sans réserve pour de belles vacances en famille, de plus les propriétaires sont charmants et très disponibles pour vous fournir toutes les informations utiles.

Merci à Christine et Jean-Pierre pour leur gentillesse et la qualité de leur accueil. Ils nous laissent leur maison avec tout l'équipement pour passer de très belles vacances. La cuisine est très bien équipée et les couteaux parfaitement aiguisés, la plancha fonctionne à merveille et nous avons pu profiter du très beau potager qui a été d'une grande générosité en tomates :-). La proximité des dock avec son lot d'excellents commerçants nous a permis de nous approvisionner quotidiennement en produits frais et de qualité. Pour les golfeur, le club d'Arcangues à moins de 10' est une bénédiction. L'arrêt de bus à côté de la maison permet de se rendre au centre-ville facilement. Enfin, seuls petits bémol peut-être, la présence assidue de moustiques en fin de journée et la circulation incessante à laquelle nous ne sommes pas habitués. Une belle adresse dans tous les cas pour passer un séjour agréable à Biarritz et dans la région.

Lovely house

The property is located in a nice quiet location on the outskirts of Biarritz. The house was all lovely and clean when we arrived, was extremely comfortable and had all the facilities that we needed for our stay. The beach is a 30 minute walk away, or a 10 minute drive. The pizza store just down the hill from the house is highly recommended along with the bakery Laurent which is about a 10 minute walk away. We had a lovely holiday in Biarritz and the surrounding area and would recommend this property as somewhere to stay.
