Knollwood Retreat is a gorgeous 2-story home built in 2003 nestled in a quiet and secluded area walk to the lake. As you walk through the front door, the home opens into an impressive open great room with gourmet kitchen! "FREE WiFi" "NO PETS"

Located in Gilner Point, Knollwood Retreat offers a secluded and quiet retreat perfect for families, just a 5-minute walk to the lake. We've been busy renovating, redecorating, and stocking up on everything you'd need for your mountain escape. This is an exceptional mountain retreat.

The interior features an open floor plan, hardwood floors, high-quality finishes, and thoughtful touches throughout. Unwind with a few rounds of pool or Foosball in the basement-level game room, safe from sleeping children’s ears.

The newly landscaped backyard with maples, aspens, pines, and apple trees features a BBQ grill with alfresco dining, hot tub, fire pit, grassy area, boccie ball / pétanque court, and in-ground trampoline with safety enclosure.

Electric car charging with 25’ cable is located in the garage.

High-speed WiFi, Netflix, Spectrum Cable. Plenty of board games and young children’s books and toys.

Knollwood Retreat is in close proximity to Snow Summit and Bear Mountain Ski Resorts, hiking, biking, boating, and running trails, a 5-minute walk to the lake and a 3-minute drive to the marina where you can rent a pontoon, enjoy a scenic narrated tour on the beautiful Big Bear Queen or try your luck at jet skiing, wakeboarding, wave runners, kayaks, stand-up paddle boats or water skiing. Moonridge Golf Course, the Discovery Center, restaurants, shopping, the Village, Performing Arts Center, spas, and nail salons are also located nearby.

I am available when needed.
No loud parties after 10 pm Check-In requires confirmation of photo I.D. and signature of rental agreement. We will send you a text message the day prior to your arrival to the phone number you provided on your reservation. Check-In will be with a Check-In agent at our office located at Bear Valley Lock &Key 477 S Eureka Drive Big Bear Lake, CA 92315. The Check-In agent will give you entry instructions and answer any questions you may have about the property. No renters under the age 21. No smoking indoors. Deposit money is charged only if damage is reported. Firewood is not provided for guest use. Guests are required to take their trash to the clean Big Bear trash site. (address provided) If you leave trash at the property you will be charged per bag, trash fee. No beer, wine, lotions, grease, or dirt in the Jacuzzi/spa. If the spa is abused and water needs to be drained and filled you will be charged $75 drain and fill fee. Guest Services calls after 10 pm are for emergencies only. Please leave the property in the same condition as you found it. When available late checkout fee is $75, due after you check in at the property.

Rules to Vacation by
Do not exceed the occupancy limit
Do not exceed the stated occupancy at any time during your stay. The maximum number of adult occupants may be less than the total maximum occupancy.
NO PARTIES ALLOWED.
No parking in street or yard
Parking is only permitted in the driveway, designated parking spaces, and garage. This includes trailers. The maximum number of vehicles permitted is on the exterior sign.
No amplified music 24/7
Amplified music is not permitted to be heard beyond the property line 24/7. Close your windows to avoid music carrying beyond the property line.
Head inside at 10:00 p.m.
Noisy outdoor activities and spa use are prohibited from 10:00 p.m. – 7:00 a.m.
Take your furry friend with you
Take your dog with you so they do not disturb surrounding neighbors. You will find that Big Bear Lake is very dog-friendly!
Take trash to dumpster locations
Trash needs to be taken to a local dumpsite unless there are commercial trash bins at your property (condo).

Consequences
Unfortunately, a few of our guests refuse to extend common courtesy and neighborly behavior toward the guests and residents around them. For those guests who have come to party and disrupt the peace and tranquility of the neighborhoods, there are costly and severe consequences.
Fines
The minimum fine for violating the rules stated previously is $500 per violation. A second offense is $1000 per violation.
Eviction
Unruly guests who blatantly disregard the rules and expectations will be evicted without a refund. In addition, costly citations may be issued to the undersigned.

Just Right

The house was BEAUTIFUL, PERFECT AND COZY. The kids LOVED the game room at the lower level of the home. Home was VERY CLEAN, property management was VERY Nice and friendly. Lake was walking distance from the home and great distance from stores, snow play and food places. This was. PERFECT VACATION home for our Family!

Poor cleaning

Im very frustrating with this house and the management First it all, the house was not clean the way that should be, specially with covid When we check in the property management told me that i need to wash all the dishes, pots, etc I get very surprise first because if the price of the house, then because of covid.How you can trust that the guest are going to clean everything good?, what about sanitization ? So when we get at the house, we start preparing lunch and all the utensils were dirty, with food, totally disgusting.I contact the management and she inmediatly started to argue with me( by text), that was water spot on the utensils and plates, glasses... all The she sent the housekeeping, an hour later Because of the poor cleaning house proceed i decido to startd cleaning the whole house! Because of we were waiting for 2 friends we stayed at the house, if not we were living on the moment that we discover how dirty was, with no sanitization of course. The barbecue was so dirty ider !! I need a refund, im going to fill a complain in regards of the covid sanitization with the city, this is an acceptable in this time with covid. This management is a disaster I have texts and pictures with me Im going to send a formal letter in the next few days Thanks

Perfect Big Bear Home!

This is our favorite Big Bear home to date! It's very well-maintained and cared for, which is not always the case with Big Bear rentals. We loved the open floor plan (you can cook and watch kids in the living/dining room) and the game room in the basement, so the adults could watch tv and be louder after the kids' bedtime. Everything was very user-friendly (code to enter home rather than keys, all light switches labeled, etc). The neighborhood is wonderful and quiet. The owner was incredibly helpful and accommodating. We would return in a heartbeat! Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Deceptive picture

We stayed there because of the game room. The pictures are deceiving. The ceiling is less than 6ft high. My husband at 6’ had to lean down and my daughters’ boyfriend is 6’6”. Hugh problem

A Relaxing Retreat

Knollwood Retreat was the perfect setting for a couple of days away from the hustle and bustle of our everyday lives. The check-in process with Thomas at A-Kenn's Key & Lock was super-easy, and the house was clean and beautifully appointed. There are easy-to-follow instructions for everything (though the volume for the TV was a challenge), and all the essentials were provided. We would definitely stay there again!

This is a fantastic home! We had a large group of 10 people and it allowed everyone space and a variety of places to hang out. We loved having the downstairs game room with foosball and pool table.The outside yard is large and has a horseshoe pit and of course we enjoyed the hot tub and propane grill. The home is relatively new and is in top notch condition. It was immaculate when we arrived and the kitchen is thoroughly stocked with everything you need. The location is walking distance to Holloway Marina and approx. 10-15 min. to the Village. I have stayed in many home rentals and this was one of the best we have experienced.
