With its 2-story picture windows and expansive decks, this home offers an unparalleled panorama of the mountains and ski runs, serving as your own private observatory in Big Bear Lake.

Relish your morning coffee on one of the two extensive decks, each offering a 180-degree view of the majestic surroundings. Breathe in the crisp, cool, pine-scented air, as you find your peace above the treetops.

While air conditioning is absent, nature compensates with its own cooling system - the fresh mountain air.

Inside, the house welcomes you with its modern decor and newly-appointed furnishings. Step into a grand, 2-story great room, complete with a large, comfy sofa, an HDTV for entertainment, a dedicated dining area, and a chef's kitchen to inspire your culinary exploits.

The house is thoughtfully divided into two levels: the entry-level houses one cozy bedroom, while the lower level offers four additional bedrooms and a game room for your entertainment.

This game room serves as the heart of indoor fun with a large Smart HDTV, Golden Tee Golf video game, and a shuffleboard game.

Experience the magic of Big Bear Lake in style and comfort at Ponderosa Peaks. This estate is not just a rental home, but a space that inspires relaxation, entertainment, and unforgettable memories.

Note: We tend to stay well booked year-round. We recommend that you book ahead of time to make sure you secure your desired dates.

*All cooking has to be done with what the house provides and the BBQ on site. It is not allowed to bring anything with charcoal, gas, propane or anything of the sort. Just what the home already has. Thank you!

When winter dusts the landscape with fresh snow, engage in thrilling activities such as skiing, snowboarding, snowshoeing, and tubing.

Summer shifts the playground to the lake, where water sports abound, and the trails, are perfect for hiking, mountain biking, and horseback riding. Golf enthusiasts won't be left out, with courses available to test your skills.

Guests' Rules

Welcome to the Guests' Rules for Property Name. Our aim is to maintain a harmonious environment that aligns with local Code Compliance and respects the comfort of all guests. As part of this effort, we've established some friendly but firm and inflexible house guidelines.

1. Maximum Occupancy: 16 guests (12 adults max). Exceeding the limit may result in fines of up to $1,000.

2. Parking: Space for 5 vehicles, including garage access. Exceeding the limit may result in fines of up to $1,000.

3. Pets: No pets allowed. If this rule is violated, you will receive a minimum of a $1,000 fine and eviction.

Please respect the home and follow the rules, just as you expect timely assistance from us. Many of these rules are city regulations, while others help us maintain the homes in top condition. Our goal is to ensure a great experience for our guests and property owners.
* Check-In: Remote check in after identity verification.
* Parking: Follow city-enforced parking limits. If you need more space, let us know.
* Occupancy: Adhere to the maximum occupancy limits enforced by us and the city. No exceptions.
* Noise: Be respectful to neighbors. Keep music inside and at a low volume. Quiet hours are from 9 PM to 8 AM. We have monitoring system in place that reads decibels of noise and notifies you directly and us of loud noises.
* A/C: Most homes do not have air conditioning. Nights are cooler with open windows.
* Ants: Clean up after meals to avoid attracting ants. We use traps and sprays, but cleanliness is key.
* Trash: Dispose of trash at the designated clean site as required by city regulation.
* Age Requirement: You must be at least 24 years old to book. We do not allow parties. This rule is strictly enforced.

Check-in starts at 4 PM
Checking In:
* IDs are required at check-in.
* You must be 24 years or older to book and check in.
* You'll need to sign a Rental Agreement with the Big Bear Good Neighbor Policy (5 minutes). The link with the rental agreement will be sent once the booking is confirmed. It needs to be completed and signed before checking-in. To confirm and maintain your reservation, our Rental Agreement must be completed within 24 hours of booking. Failure to complete the agreement within this timeframe may result in cancellation without refund if the cancellation window has passed.

Please note:
Our standard cancellation policy applies from the moment the reservation is confirmed, not from when the rental agreement is completed. By booking, you agree to complete all required documentation within the given timeframe and to be bound by the cancellation terms.

Stunning Cabin with Amazing Views

Our stay at this Big Bear cabin was incredible! The views were breathtaking, and the cabin was spacious, clean, and beautifully designed. The kids loved the play area, and the kids room was much more spacious than I expected. It was the perfect getaway, and we can’t wait to return!

This cabin was beautiful and was perfect for our annual family ski trip. The cabin is spacious, well equipped and has a view that cannot be beat. Extra bonus was being able to use the garage. We loved our stay!

This place was amazing! The pictures don’t do it justice and my whole family really loved the place!! Although it says not child proof, we were surprised and happy that the stairs had a gate that prevented my 1 and 2 year old nephews from going up and down the stairs. Very spacious and open! Love the balconies!!!

Stunning mountain home!

Seriously better than we anticipated. Amazing home with gorgeous views of the ski resorts. The home was immaculate with upgraded modern luxuries and a great game space- not to mention the most incredible bunk room for kids. We enjoyed staying here and enjoying wine on the deck, making delicious meals in the gourmet kitchen and enjoying a much needed getaway! Can’t wait to go back!

We loved it...great place for a family!!

This is a wonderful rental property. The main open living room/den/kitchen has very high vaulted ceiling and windows looking out on slopes. You can make out people skiing from a distance. It is a beautiful view. The deck off the living room is very large. The grill did not work well but we made do. Everything else was perfect. The kitchen is well stocked. We loved the shuffle board table on the lower level. Everything is new and nice. Beds, laundry, TVs, etc. There are lots of DVD movies. All in all a great vacation place for a family. There were three couples and 4 children in our group. Everyone loved it.

Perfect home

The property was as advertised. Updated home with an open floor plan. Rooms were the perfect size for all of us. The views were awesome and it was a very convenient location to the ski resort. Only thing I request is that a dresser or armoire be placed inside the master bedroom because the closet was being used as a storage. Other than that there were no real issues with anything and are looking forward to staying here again.

Beautiful home

My family and I wanted to have a weekend getaway for my husbands birthday and we are all so happy we found this place. The house, the views, everything about this place is breathtaking. None of us wanted to leave. The rooms are cozy, the kids LOVED the gameroom, the balcony had a view that other cabins dont have. I will rate this place a 20/10.
