Loft Cabin #2
This is a loft cabin that sleeps 6. 4 in the loft and 2 on the main floor. The property is amazing. It sits on the Muskegon River but you wonât have river views from the cabin, however, you can walk to it. You can also explore the paved Fred Meijer White Pine Trail that goes from Cadillac to Grand Rapids. It has a VHS player, smart tv, and WIFI. There is disc golf and woods to roam. This cabin does have a floor A/C unit. If you come with with your furry friend I just ask that they don't bark and you clean up after them. This is Gray's Riverside Camp with firewood that is close to your cabin. I do offer kayaking, firepit, ping pong, outdoor gas grill, events in the Tabernacle, swing, and game room.
When we arrived we knew that there was no AC but were delighted to find a portable AC unit. Unfortunately we could not get the unit to work and Angie also did not have any tips on getting it to work. The cabin had many great reviews of being clean and the perfect place to stay, this was not the case. My boyfriend and I did have to leave due to an emergency back home so we did not get to stay even a night but the conditions of the cabin would have made that stay uncomfortable. I had texted Angie to see if I could receive even a partial refund and did not/ still have yet to hear back.
We arrived after dark and they had just had the driveway paved. The host Angie was very helpful getting direction to our cabin and went out of her way to make sure we found the trail to get to our cabin. Beautiful area. We enjoyed playing games in the recreation room and we even sat and played the board game sorry.
Nice and quiet. The owner came by to check in on my last night to make sure that all was good. Way better than staying in a hotel for work, if you are in to minor league âglampingâ, which is anything more than a tent in my opinion. Grill was great for all my cooking, had wi-fi for my job. Fire pit for nights and a tv with some free⊠tv stuff. ALL the soap and shampoo was heavily scented, so you might want to bring something a little less? Too many pots and pan options for someone just cooking with the huge grill or the fire. If your looking for the typical suit and tie stay, this isnât for you. If your accustomed to camping and donât like the day to day hotel life, youâll love it here.
We really enjoyed our stay. Quiet location it had everything we needed. There is no a/c, but we didnt need it. The host had an amazing fan/thing that kept the cabin cool all day and night.
I really enjoyed the adorable cozy feel of this cabin. It had everything you needed, and nothing you didn't. I always appreciate efficency. The setting was super unique, being on a camp ground style property. We had lots of space all to ourselves, which made it especially nice for us to bring our dog along. There is a ton of nature/adventure stuff to do in the area, and the property connects with the white pine trail, you can access it without having to drive anywhere. Angie is super friendly and answered any questions we had. Over all awesome experience.
This was our second year back at Grays Riverside Camp. The host, Angie, was incredibly welcoming and accommodating. She responded promptly to our queries and was flexible with any accommodations/adjustments needed.
On the rainy days, we took a quick 8 min drive to enjoy exploring downtown Big Rapids and Card/Riley Conservation & Wildlife Education Center.
Our stays at Grays Riverside Camp are nothing short of magical. Whether you're planning a romantic getaway or a family vacation, this place offers everything you need for a memorable stay. We can't wait to return!
Thank you to Angie for providing us with such a wonderful experience.
Cute cabin, had all we needed! Angie was very responsive, her and her dad were very kind and helped us give our college freshman son a needed recharge! Thank you and we'll be back!!
Modern cabin camping with rustic charm and exceptional hospitality!
Escape to rustic paradise! This cabin alongside the river is an absolute gem. The cozy, well-designed interior offers modern comfort while maintaining its rustic charm.
The host, Angie is incredible â responsive, welcoming, helpful, and genuinely kind. From fireside stories to morning coffees at the picnic table, every moment is harmonious. Nature's beauty combined with exceptional hospitality makes this cabin a must-visit. A perfect retreat to unwind and connect with nature.
We can't wait to return for another memorable getaway!
Very chic/gorgeous/cutely decorated. We would definitely stay again. Short drive to town. Even though it was hot and humid outside, our host had a fan going and windows opened to keep it cool (since there was no A/C.)
