Your Big Sky: Ski, Hike, Fish, Explore | Hidden Village Hideaway
Welcome to Hidden Village Hideaway!
Hidden Village Hideaway is the kind of place people come back to. Three bedrooms, two and a half bathrooms, and a jetted soaking tub inside the home that is all yours for the stay. The open living area flows into a full kitchen and a dining table that seats six, so there's room to actually spread out. Whether you're here for powder days or summer trails, a wood burning fireplace and year-round community sauna and hot tub make it easy to unwind after whatever the day brought. A seasonal pool rounds things out when the weather turns. You're three minutes from Big Sky Town Center and ten minutes from the resort, with Yellowstone just an hour down the road.
Montana delivers in every season, and this is a great place to come home to after all of it.
Winter Big Sky Resort is the biggest skiing in America, and it earns that title every single year. With 5,800 skiable acres, 4,350 feet of vertical drop, and an average of 400+ inches of snowfall annually, it delivers for every level of skier and rider. When you are ready to step off the slopes, the historic Lone Mountain Ranch has 85+ kilometers of groomed Nordic trails through the wilderness, voted the #1 cross-country ski resort in North America. Beyond that, Yellowstone National Park, snowmobiling, snowshoeing, dog sledding, ice fishing, and world-class spa experiences are all within easy reach.
Summer The mountains do not slow down when the snow melts. Within minutes you have world-class fly fishing, river rafting, golf, hiking, mountain biking, horseback riding, and zip-lining at your doorstep. Follow the scenic Gallatin River along historic Highway 191 and you are at the west entrance of Yellowstone National Park in just 45 minutes. Stay long enough and you will find free concerts, farmers markets, and weekly events scattered throughout the season.

How close is Condo w/private hot tub, fireplace & community pool/sauna | Hidden Village Hideaway to the airport?
This vacation home is 47.3 mi (59-min drive) away from the Bozeman Yellowstone Intl. Airport (BZN) airport, the closest popular airport to the property.
We didn't actually stay in this unit and switched to another unit months before our stay. But it still shows this unit in VRBO. Its the same management company. Unit was in Alpenglow and it was great. Nice garage, great fireplace, super clean, great hot tub, etc. Communication with management company was excellent for a couple minor questions. We will being looking for Alpenglow the next time we are in Big Sky.
Great spot, cozy fireplace, plenty of amenities. The kitchen equipment needs some attention. The knives are poor quality for a group that plans on cooking at the home. A large pot and strainer would be nice to have as well. All in all, a decent vacation rental.
I have rented many vacation properties and know that minor problems come with the territory, but Stay Montana was something completely different. By far my worst experience ever with either VRBO or AirB&B.
Their customer service team seemed to think that I should simply take it in stride that, when we arrived, the unit had no hot water, the private hot tub didnât work, and there was no key for the shared hot tub.
Not sure why I expected there to be a working hot tub. Maybe it was the title for the listing:
Hidden Village Hideaway - Private Hot Tub - Minutes from Big Sky Resort
Or, maybe it was the hot tub cleaning fee that was included in my billing, the one I complained about because it seemed excessive given there was already a substantial cleaning fee for the unit. I was told the fee was justified just a day before my arrival. Even the customer service rep didnât know there was no working hot tub until her operations manager checked into it. Everyone from me to billing to customer service had missed the fine print stating that the hot tub was broken.
It took an hour for the customer service rep to learn what I was supposed to know from the outset. The hot tub was broken. I was told to use the community hot tub. Unfortunately, they failed to provide a key for the community hot tub.
I was also silly enough to assume a condo would have hot water. No worries, I was told, they would fix the hot water and bring the key the next day.
When I raised these issues, I expected profuse apologies and some effort to comp me for my troubles. Maybe a reduction in rent for the non-functioning hot tub and a free night for a unit with no hot water. What did I get?
A generous offer to remove the charge for cleaning the broken hot tub from my credit card.
I guess I was lucky, a friend arrived at another Stay Montana Unit the same night and found it was owner occupied! At 10:30 at night, after driving all day, they had to find a new place to stay while enduring subzero temperatures. And then had to move the following night.
Stay Montanaâs utter lack of concern provides a case study in how NOT to provide customer service. In fact, I am saving the texts to share with my customer service team.
Bottom line: STAY AWAY FROM STAY MONTANA.
