We were impressed when we first arrived. It seemed clean and the front desk staff were together. We went out with friends for dinner and when we came back there was an old white guy in a lawn seat behind one of the vans looking the most like a guy selling drugs that I’ve seen since watching the Wire. Since I was tired and wanted to sleep I didn’t call it in - sleep>a police raid. The next morning there wasn’t much to eat. The egg lady wasn’t there yet, but when she came she made sure to bring the desk clerk finishing his shift a plate. Then later brought the pan out to the rest of us. Good times.

The property is located in a nice, quiet area. The facility was nice and the room was great. Carmen was very helpful and provided great service! We booked a suite and it was very comfortable and spacious.

We check on on the first night the pipe under the sink was barely on and flooded the bathroom it was very mildew smell. They did not want to refund one night. The Tub had mildew.

My husband and I checked in ( room 523) October 3, 2025 between 1 pm-2 pm. I just had breast cancer surgery on February 4, 2025 . My appointment was a breast cancer survivor event at the red Mountain theater in Birmingham after we return to the room at 11:45 PM. The bathroom was covered with roaches and ants after I took my medication. I was exhausted. My husband watched over me all night as I took a couple of naps. He then called the front desk about 4 AM and told them the problem. the guy at the front desk name was Darrell. He came and checked the room and saw the roaches. We packed up our belongings and checked out about 5:45 AM. We reached out to the hotel And they only offered us 20%. We did not accept this was a nightmare, especially with my condition, I hope you see fit and do the right thing because 20% is unfair. We have pictures of the room bathroom and shower of the roaches crawling on the floor and walls. We are senior citizens and my husband is a disabled veteran. God bless.

The room was terrible. There were blood splatters on the floor. There were other bodily things on the floor. The door wouldn't lock. There were "questionable people" leaving the hotel when my daughter was walking into the hotel.

It was very clean and nice in the lobby and the room was nice to as I was overlooking the pool. There was NO hot water in the sink or shower tho and I tried many times. Getting out of the room to the parking lot was NOT a good experience as there are no signs to know which floor to go to. There are 4 doors to this particular hotel and therefore 4 different areas to park. It was a mess figuring it out and finally had to ask front desk.

On our recent trip we stopped at two hotels. Our stay at La Quinta Inn was disappointing. It was not as clean as it should have been. There should have been more attention given to the bathroom, behind the door. The breakfast was the biggest disappointment. I did not expect a big breakfast but more than what we had. Coffee, good. Eggs were cold, not even warm at 6:05 am. Meat? Nothing. The woman taking care of the breakfast did not seem to care about being there. No smile or response to a "good morning." Overall, the best I could give would be an "OK" for our stay.

I stayed at this property for four days while attending a family event. The room was spacious and in good but not immaculate shape. Check in was smooth. The bed was very comfortable, which was great. Lots of different fast food and casual dining restaurants nearby.
