The villa was build with a Southerly aspect meaning it has Sun all day at the front on the pool, but keeps lovely and cool inside in the bedrooms at the rear.

Family holiday

We really enjoyed our stay. This was our third visit to the Villa and to Biscarrosse. The Villa, lake and beach were as lovely as we remembered. We hope to return one day.

Perfect property and location for a family holiday

The property has a light and spacious open plan living area. It was very clean and in good decorative order. The kitchen is well equipped, including a dishwasher. An adjoining utility room houses a freezer and washing machine. Given how hot the weather can be during the day, it's notable that the bedrooms at the rear of the property do remain a little cooler than you might expect, making them more comfortable to sleep in. My daughter loved the large pool and was in it every day. The decking area was provided with ample seating / loungers, as well as a table which was perfect for breakfast and evening meals. The provided bikes were a plus. We used them on a number of occasions and they were completely adequate to leisurely navigate the local cycle tracks. The property is situated within a 10 minute walk of the inland lagoon, which has sandy beaches and tall pines for shade. The water is calm and very shallow, ideal for younger children. You can wade out 100m and still not be waste deep. A 10 minute drive reaches Biscarrosse Plage which has numerous shops, as well as a wide expanse of sandy beach and good waves that are perfect for body boarding. Ken was great to deal with and always quick to respond to any messages. Nick, the property agent in Biscarrosse, was just a phone call / WhatsApp away and quick to respond to any queries.

Great location, quiet but walking distance to beautiful lake

The location is fantastic in a quiet cul-de-sac within walking distance of a beautiful lake with a sandy beach. Surfing beaches are a 10min drive away. No shops within walking distance however but 2 supermarkets within 10mins drive. Biscarrosse Plage seems a pretty lively place with a good mix of restaurants. The house is set in a large plot with a pool & decking. There are 3 bedrooms but no air conditioning and with temperatures hitting 42C it was somewhat uncomfortable at night but great during the day especially on the beach - best waves ever. Kitchen is really well equipped and lounge is comfortable. We made good use of the UK TV channels watching England win the Cricket World Cup final & a nightly dose of Love Island for the youngest. Nick & Ken we're both a pleasure to deal with and we're already thinking of next year.

The images of the villa don't do it justice. There's a big hedge that obscures the villa in this picture and it feels spacious and private. There is no need for air conditioning which is just as well, because we read that there was (could be disappointing to some). We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves spending about half our time out at the beaches and half at the wonderful pool. If you plan to cycle to the sea I'd bring or rent really good quality bikes as its hilly and tough going along the 10km dedicated tracks.

Very comfortable villa in great location.

A very comfortable villa with nice open-plan living/dining/kitchen area overlooking pretty garden and decent sized pool. Kitchen equipped with all you need and the villa is well furnished. Bedrooms are all a decent size. The villa is in a great location on a quiet road in the "Golf" area of Biscarosse Lac and it is less than 10 minutes to walk from the villa to the lake, There are extensive cycle paths in this area and these are easily accessible from the villa. Supermarkets and restaurants in Biscarosse Ville and Biscarosse Plage are a short drive away. A great place to stay to enjoy the lakes and Atlantic coast. Hope to return.

Great villa in a stunning location

If I had anything negative to say about this holiday, it would be that a week is not long enough. The villa is set in a tranquil location but fully accessible to all local amenities. The villa was clean, spacious, well equipped and modern. The same can be said for the gardens and pool area. Having a wheelchair user in the family made us do quite a bit of research about the general area and if places were wheelchair accessible. Everywhere was totally wheelchair accessible and enabled us to go out and explore Bicarrosse and further afield. Supermarkets and shops are aplenty in the town, and are well stocked with everything you need. We didn't eat out much but we loved Paradisio (fish restaurant) and Pizza Mag (takeaways). Again, everywhere was wheelchair accessible. Our thanks to Nick for all his help and advice on places to visit. He was a reassuring contact for if we needed any information and made sure we had a relaxing holiday. Finally, thanks to Ken and Pam. We had a great time and would recommend this villa and Bicarrosse for anyone looking for a wheelchair/pushchair accessible holiday, with the option to do everything or just relax in stunning surroundings.

Wir waren bei unserer Ankunft sehr angenehm überrascht. Es war noch schöner als es die Bilder hergegeben haben. Es hat an nichts gefehlt. Die perfekt ausgestattete Küche, der herrliche Pool im wunderschönen Garten, schöne komfortable Schafzimmer, spaßige Tischtennisabende, tolle ruhige Lage des Hauses etc. haben unseren Aufenthalt perfekt gemacht. Fantastic stay in Biscarrosse

My family and I had a pleasant stay at the Villa. The house is perfect for a family with two teenagers as everyone had their own bedroom. The pool was a good size for us and the proximity to the Lac & the beach was fantastic. The garden is small, but as it was very hot, our time was spent in the pool. We didn't get to meet Nick as there was a lot of traffic, however, he was always contactable. An enjoyable stay with lots of happy memories.

Eine traumhafte Villa ideal an einem bevorzugten, ruhigen Lage gelegen zwischen See und Meer. Grosses Anwesen mit tollem Pool, schöner Terrasse und grosszügigem Wohnraum. Villa avec piscine au domaine du Golf à Biscarrosse

The villa se situe dans un domaine avec des résidences vacancier. Ce domaine se situe près d´un lac avec des plages de sable. Dans le domain il y a un terrain de golf qui se d´étend entre les villa's. la maison est moderne et très bien équipée. La piscine est bien entretenue et l´eau était á un agréable 26 degrés début juin. Nous avons utilisés les vélo's après quelques petits réglages et une réparation. Il y avait aussi un table de ping pong en très bon état. Les chambres et les 2 salles de bain étaitent en très bonne état et spacieux. La cuisine est bien équipée et le séjour est spacieux avec un grand écran et recepteur satélite. Conclusion: notre seul regrèt était que le séjour n´était d´une durée de seulement une semaine. Un vacancier content.

Grosse déception …

Nous avons loué cette maison avec nos enfants et conjoints. Cette maison était mentionnée pour 8 personnes avec 4 chambres. A l’arrivé, il n’y avait que 3 chambres pour 6 personnes et un canapé mal en point dans le sejour servant comme 4e couchage sans drap ni serviette de toilette pour les malheureux qui se sont retrouvés dans le canapé bien inconfortable. L’annonce n’étant plus en ligne à notre arrivée, il était impossible de vérifier le nombre de chambres !! Le ménage laissait aussi à désirer et dommage qu’il n’y ait que 4 transats pour une villa dite de luxe pour 8 personnes. La localisation est par contre sympa. C’est la première fois que nous sommes déçus de toutes nos locations sur Abritel qui a chaque fois sont bien conformes à l’annonce, pas cette fois ci.

Haus für 6 Personen mit nur 3 Schlafzimmern in super Lage zwischen See und Meer

Beschreibung passt fast zum Objektzustand, es sind nur 3 Schlafzimmer, das Wohnzimmer verfügt über ein Schlafsofa. Wir haben mehrfach falsche Telefonnummern zur Schlüsselübergabeperson erhalten und hatten schon Angst, dass es das Haus nicht wirklich gibt...aber 1 Stunde vor Ankunft hat es dann doch geklappt mit der Kontaktaufnahme und somit der Zugang zum Haus. Also keine Angst, das Haus ist vorhanden und wir hatten einen super Urlaub an Pool und Meer...12 Minuten zum Meer, 20 Minuten zur Dune du Pilat, 5 Minuten zum See. Das Haus ist gepflegt und gemütlich, eine neue Tischtennisplatte steht in der Garage, nur Schläger dafür sollte man besser mitbringen. Ein defekter Duschschlauch wurde superschnell gewechselt. Der Herd/Backofen sollte mal repariert werden...nur 2 von 4 Herdplatten funktionieren und der Backofen ist schlecht regelbar, zu heiß. Aber es hat trotzdem mit großer Aufsicht mit Essen bereiten geklappt. Größere Töpfe wären für 6 Personen schön. Alles zusammen hatten wir einen wunderschönen Aufenthalt.

Idéalement située mais piscine non chauffée et 3 chambres seulement. 4ème couchage dans salon.

Lieu parfait mais système de chauffe solaire de la piscine ne permet pas une eau 28 degré... c'est le soleil qui chauffe la piscine... je compatit pour les vacanciers qui vont passer une semaine sans soleil et une piscine à 22 degrés (comme le jour de notre arrivée).

Perfect Location, very good communication. Es war das erste Haus, in demm alles exakt so war, wie es beschrieben war. Insbesondere die Bilder waren exakt so, wie die Möbel tatsächlich aussahen. Ein tolles Haus, in sehr guter Lage zu den Seen in Bisacrosse, zum Meer und zur Düne nach Pilat sind die Wege überschaubar. Wir buchen jederzeit sehr gerne wieder bei Ken, wenn wir wieder nach Biscarosse fahren. Übersetzen möge jemand anderes...

Außergewöhnlich schönes Ferienhaus in ruhiger Lage

Tolles Haus mit Pool und großem Grund mitten im Pinienwald in ruhiger Nachbarschaft, ideal zum Entspannen. Gute Lage für Ausflüge zum See Biscarrosse, Atlantik, Arcachon etc. Zu viert war das Platzangebot für uns sehr großzügig. Wir haben jede Minute genossen bei angenehmen Temperaturen im mittleren Bereich und ohne Stechmücken.
