I have stayed in cleaner rooms. There were dead insects along the skirting board and marks in the bathroom walls and shower. Seemed to be no insulation between floors as the elephant upstairs was thumping around both nights, on and off all night, both nights. We eventually gave up on sleeping and checked out very early and went home to our own beds. Probably won't be staying there again. On a good note staff were wounderfull and the reception area looked lovely.

Quite and restful place

Nice, clean close to the airport, after a 6 hours delay and missed flight connection… a quiet place ready to crash in was just what the doctor ordered! Definitely use it again!

Worse room !

Our room was over the front door which opened and closed all night ! Plus opposite the entrance to the lift which did exactly the same. Worse sleep ever ! No caring response from receptionist either

I booked this hotel prior to flying from Stansted because hotel website says there is a shuttle bus...This is incorrect I was told at Stansted that there is no shuttle and that there are no local buses on Sundays. I had to get an Uber which cost £31 ! The person on reception was helpful and informed that we could use the local bus the following day and got us times. He also gave directions. 5 stars for reception staff, but the hotel website needs to be updated !

Booked in advance so good value. Plenty of free parking; registration plate is required with check-in. The man on reception was efficient and friendly. Hallway to room was clean and smelt fresh. Room had desk, two chairs, storage/hanging space, TV, was clean, neat and tidy with comfortable beds. A kettle with coffee tea facilities were provided. Shower was all good but the loose toilet roll holder was annoying. It’s in services so some food/drink facilities available. Less than 10 minute drive to Stansted airport - I would use again :)

Convenient stay before early morning flight

We arrived late evening and were departing early am to catch a flight. Mohammed was prompt in checking us in (and out) and was friendly and helpful. The room was perfect; clean and cosy for me and my two grown up kids to share. Short transfer by uber to the airport to ensure we got our early flight. All in all a pleasant experience.

Clean with hidden we park costs

Hotels very clean and tidy , only issue was not being aware of the car park charges , £5 but I was only made aware when booking in , it was quiet thankfully as half the car park is electric vehicle charging limiting space for guests
