Cute Cottage, Pet and Family Friendly, Reduced Rates for Longer Term Rentals

Guests to our cozy cottage will enjoy the peace and quiet at the end of a country road. Located just two minutes from downtown Black Mountain, and twenty from downtown Asheville, this cottage is convenient to all the amazing things these two towns have to offer, but is also wonderful for rest and relaxation.

Rosso Veranda features a sweet porch with a view of the mountains. Four rockers and bistro table make this a perfect spot for your morning coffee, or taking in the sunset.

Our home is clean and comfortable. Both bedrooms have queen sized beds.

The kitchen is fully-equipped with a microwave, toaster oven, coffee maker, pots, pans, and dishes. Guests are invited to wash a load of laundry if they’d like- washer, dryer and laundry detergent are provided. All linens are provided, as well as shampoo, body wash, detergents, and paper products.

The living room has a 43" Chrome-Cast TV, DVD player, and Roku for "plugged in" entertainment. High-Speed WiFi throughout and non-carpeted floors throughout. A variety of family games, puzzles and DVDs are provided for family fun.

Black Mountain is within easy reach of Lake Lure, Asheville, Lake James, and the Blue Ridge Parkway. It is a quaint little town sporting many wonderful locally owned shops and restaurants. A great place to stay when exploring western North Carolina!

Loved this little cottage. It was the perfect space for the three of us and was close enough to Asheville but still away from the crowds. If it's available I'd definitely book again. The host were also very responsive and helped us out when our pet sitter quit last minute. Would give 10 stars if I could

The house was sparse but well appointed for my son, his wife, and their two children. They spent most of the time with us at Highland Farms, so were not in the rented house except for sleeping and breakfast. The area is not welcoming, though new building is abundant. I had a somewhat difficult time getting responses from the owners re/ early checkin but they permitted it.

Everything was great! This was our second visit. We enjoyed our stay. The only problem wasn’t with the property, we got a virus when we got there. We will be planning another trip, probably in April. We just want to enjoy the property without sickness.

Overall it was a nice stay. Disappointed that there was no fire pit as shown in photo. Porch lights did not work, need to update photos on advertising site. outside grill very dirty, unable to use. Other accommodations were pleasing. Decorated nicely and kitchen is equipped with essentials.

The property was clean, easy to follow instructions when leaving, quiet neighborhood. Pet-friendly.One neighbor did yell at me to get away as I walked my dog down the road on her side of the road. I think neighbors don't like the new houses, but I didn't let it spoil our good time. Sotting on the front porch was great!

Quiet neighborhood & great views

My husband and I came with our 2 teenage children again this year. They participated in the Compass program at Montreat College and we stayed close by in this cabin. This was our 2nd time staying in this home and it met all our needs. The owners communicated quickly, kindly, and professionally on the few questions we had. The beds are comfy and it's dark and quiet which makes for good sleep. We enjoyed driving to the Golds Gym in Asheville for workouts as well as walking early in the mornings on the roads near the property. And we discovered Hopey's grocery store this time which is a fun little discount store for groceries, produce, and lots of odds and ends. We also enjoyed dining at Tayloe's Oyster Bar/Que Sera in Black Mountain. Great little cabin, home away from home.

Adorable house just right for 4

Very convenient to Black Mountain, Montreat and Asheville. Stocked with lots of games, puzzles, books, etc. nice front porch with rockers to view mountains.

Lovely place!

This was a great little house and not far from Asheville! Perfect price, close to a Dollar General for emergency needs, and Black Mountain’s Downtown is a great day trip! It was difficult to find because the road was washed out. so I wouldn’t trust your GPS to get there.

Great space for small family

House was perfect size for our family of 3 and our dog. Has all the amenities and accessories you could ask for. It is in a nice central location to lots of great trails. Less than 10 minutes to downtown Black Mountain. Pictures are a little outdated, there is now a new housing development out front.
