I am mystified as to how this property has an 8.2 rating. Please don't book thinking you'll get an 8.2 room! Pros --Staff were all very kind, friendly, and helpful --Breakfast is accurately identified as continental, but was completely adequate, including GF cereal options. Breakfast was available until 10:30 am, which was nice. Cons --Rooms (our group had 2) were not clean. Both had a coating of grunge/dust on bed headboards, lamps, baseboards; the remote control and clock looked to have been handled by someone with lots of sticky gunk on their hands and were GROSS; lots of spiderwebs in corners, on lamp; stained toilets --Both rooms smelled absolutely horrible. One room smelled of old cigarette smoke, the other of I'm not sure what--mildewy, sour smell. --The refrigerators are plugged into an outlet that is operated by a switch by the door. No signage indicates this--so if you could turn your refrigerator off and not have any idea you've done so until your food is warm :-/ --Towels, while clean, were pretty threadbare, as were sheets. If you need a place to sleep, this meets the criteria and staff were very kind, but a more accurate reflection of the facility would be a 6 or 6.5 rating.

The room itself was clean, and spacious. It sounded like there was an outdoor gathering of guests around the corner with music playing - but they didn't stay out long. The breakfast was really, really light (toast with peanut butter, and cereal), and there was only seating for two or four people. While there was a restaurant across the parking lot, we didn't bother with it.

Looks like the rooms were recently renovated. Carpet, flooring, furniture. The internet worked well. The services offered on the streaming TV were nice. The TV could've been a little larger for the size of the room. That could be a future upgrade. They were nice enough to move us to a different room right away because we had a large barking dog next to us. They still use keys and our door was a little hard to open, and the deadbolt had to be fiddled with to get it to engage. The restaurant in the same parking lot serves good food for lunch and dinner. The provided breakfast at the hotel was just cereal or boiled eggs. Not sure if that was standard as we only stayed one night. Not a lot of breakfast options in town that we could find. The pastry and coffee shop around the corner had limited options as they were prepping a large custom order. Be aware, their coffee is really hot. Overall, I would say it was a good value for the price we paid. This is our 3rd time staying in town, a different place each time. If breakfast is important to you, I would check in to other options.

It was fine for a quick overnight stop. Not much to choose from for dining, places close early and open late. Note that Blanding is a dry town so if you're looking for a cocktail, you ain't getting one there.

Not bad, but needs improvement

Rooms are in need of an upgrade. Also breakfast doesn't begin until 7:30 so if you're on the go early, you're out of luck. Also they had left some roach traps in the bathroom with 1 or 2 dead bugs. Certainly not the best look

We had the apartment style room that included a full size refrigerator and kitchen. Also had a separate living room and couch and dining table. Very roomy and very worth the money. It was nicer than expected from the website. The only problem we had was the shower door came off of its track because it was worn out, but this was not a big deal we told the owner and they are going to fix it.

When I checked in, I was shocked because the receptionist asked me to pay. I said I've paid through Expedia as always. She showed me a notice from the management. Secondly, the price of my room has been inflated to $101. I argued with her and finally she gave in and charged me $89.86. I wonder if that's correct. Please check my other three bookings and see if they've overcharged me or not. Thanks!

Very disappointed in the staff. Evidently they had forgotten how to ever smile or acknowledge our presence. Breakfast was a disaster as they ran out of food and when told about this, said ok and continued on their phones for a while. finally they put out 1 more thing for the 2 of us. Yes, 1 more thing. Ran out of orange juice. We set the pitcher on the check in counter and they just left it there empty. Not impressed!
