Little Farmhouse Escape Explore Relax

Rustic flair meets traditional elegance in this cozy country home.
Nestled in a quiet Residential Neighborhood just minutes to historic downtown Blue Ridge and Lake Blue Ridge Public Beach @ Morganton Point Recreational Area.

While most things are brand-new there are several things that are also time-honored with lots of charm in this modern Farmhouse. Our 3 bedroom/2 bath home is graced by surrounding mountains. Custom kitchen, plentiful windows, natural and painted wood interior all keep it light and cozy.

***Please also understand that the low sloped ceiling in the upstairs bathroom (though very common in a home this age) may not be comfortable for some guests


Take a stroll through our picturesque garden area while breathing in the fresh Mountain Air. Spacious deck invites you to sit and relax while enjoying your favorite drink.

Quite neighborhood.... a pleasant 8 minute drive to the heart of downtown Blue Ridge. Lake access, boat ramp, beach and beautiful sunsets are just around the corner at Morganton Point Recreational Area. All roads are paved and grant easy access. You can enjoy seasonal views of the surrounding mountians and lake when walking around the block.

Child ready:
A pack and play, umbrella stroller and safety gate are available for use. There are also toys and books for the little ones as well as BOARD GAMES FOR ADULTS AND TEENS.

Going to the Beach:
Two beach chairs, beach towels for 6 guests and beach bag are available for use.

Pantry Items:
We provide salt, pepper, sugar, olive oil, a starter coffee brick with coffee pot filters. As well as different teas to enjoy. Enough Paper towels and toilet paper to last for a long weekend.

Hotel Amenities:
We offer high-end hotel sized shampoos conditioners as well as body wash and lotion. A blow dryer is available for use and located in the vanity of each bathroom.

Cozy in the farmhouse

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The house was equipped with everything that we would need including fully stocked bathrooms and kitchen. We love sitting on the back porch enjoying the beautiful view.

Great place near Blue Ridge

We enjoyed our stay. The house was clean, well equipped and in a quiet neighborhood just a few miles from Blue Ridge. There were only two of us, but you could be very comfortable with 6 people.

Perfect

We had another lovely stay at your sweet home! We tried to go in October but hurricanes in our area didn’t allow us to make the trip. There’s nothing like picking your own apples and seeing the fall colors. We were able to visit later and loved getting fresh apples from the apple houses. We enjoyed shopping and the beautiful fall air. Thank you for sharing your home with us. We can’t wait for our next visit!

Home away from home

This place was very nice and relaxing. The set up had a full kitchen with kitchen accessories. Also, entertainment with toys and board games for my kids. Location was a plus. We're were minutes away from the next town. We definitely love this area and will be back again:)

Amazing time

We only rented for one night. But it was so quiet and nice. And peaceful!!! I will be back with my husband and my other kid. But it was not far from my cousins place which was exactly what we were looking for. We will be renting again in the future

Lovely stay

This was a cute little house located about 10 minutes from downtown blue ridge. House was toddler friendly. Host was very gracious had baby gate for the stairs and even offered to get us a hiking backpack for my daughter. She responded to my messages in a timely matter. House was clean and had everything we needed.

The house was cute and close to downtown Blue Ridge. Beautiful flowers in the yard. I always leave a tip for the maid but this time I didn't, the towels smelled as if they had been in the washer wet to long before they were dried and the mattress pad on the bed in the master was in need of a good washing, otherwise the house was clean and comfortable.

Loved the farmhouse!

We just returned from Blue Ridge and absolutely loved our stay at the little farmhouse! Neighborhood was quiet and house lived up to its listing. The only reason for giving check-in 4 stars was that we had to call the owner for assistance as the battery operated door lock wasn’t functioning and also we didn’t have the wi-fi password. Mary replied immediately and we had no further issues. I would definitely stay there again.

Quick Christmas Getaway

Perfect for our 2 day stay

This home was very cozy and perfect for myself and my kids. My 8 year old special needs son usually doesn’t sleep through the night when we’re away from home so him sleeping the time we were there says a lot! And so this momma was able to get some rest as well! Thank you for the welcome snacks!

Exactly what our family needed

Our stay at “The Little Farmhouse” was exactly what our family needed. We had our 3, 9, & 13 year old with us. The beds were very comfortable. The 3 year old, who does not always do well away from home, slept really well. The neighborhood was quiet and peaceful. The property was clean. We enjoyed cooking in the kitchen and using the grill. The appliances are great. Communication with the owners was always quick. The internet was super fast. Even though we didn’t get a chance to use them, they had extra items like toys, board games, a playpen, and beach chairs. The property is close to so many things to do in the area. We didn’t get to everything we wanted. I hope we have a chance to visit again.

Cute little home

We were in town for a softball tournament, and the farm house was less than 15 minutes away from the park - so it was super convenient. We had everything we needed, and enjoyed our stay very much! It inspired me to want to build my own little farm house. Loved how quaint it was, and my girls enjoyed having their own rooms upstairs. Thank you for a pleasant stay!

Nice getaway!

Cute renovated house! It is a little small downstairs but you get used to it and then it begins to feel cozy. Beautiful back deck to sit and relax. Quiet neighborhood, and not too far from downtown activities.

Location was convenient and easy. We rolled up the kitchen runner and moved it while there as several of us kept tripping on it. Bumped my head a few times on the sloped ceilings. Felt like I had to walk around with my head ducked. Other than that, very nice place. We enjoyed being able to visit.

Senior Citizen Friendly

Easy to find and get to, easy access to front door, throughout house and walk in shower. Had everything we needed. Beautiful views. The bed and bedding were some of the most comfortable we've ever slept on... and that's a lot considering we are over 80 yrs old! The only trouble we had is that we are not "Streaming" knowledgable. We managed but couldnt find our normal regular channels such as CBS, ABC, etc. We also enjoyed the surrounding area with so much beauty everywhere.
