Beautiful House

We absolutely loved this house! It was very open and spacious. Nicely stocked kitchen too. The neighborhood was quiet and peaceful. Very close to lots to do in Bodega Bay. Will definitely return!

Perfect layout for our group. We had 8 people and the house was perfect. The fire pit was very nice for our storytelling sessions. Great therapy!Great location. Close to the beach, shopping, and food. Definitely would stay here again.

Great View of Bodega Bay.

This property is in a great location. The house is huge and clean. The sunsets are gorgeous. I would highly recommend it and will stay there again. I do have 2 complaints; the hot water takes a very long time to heat up and the instruction to turn on the TV is outdated. It states to turn on the DVD player and there is no DVD player. It took me a while to get the TV turn on for my grandkids.

Our family enjoyed our stay. The house was a little older than anticipated. AC/ventilation were difficult to manage, especially in downstairs bedrooms. Fog layer impeded evening and morning views. Nice neighborhood and clean home.

Peaceful with a view

Great view of the ocean from the kitchen and balconies. Clean spacious place. Quiet neighborhood, 10 minute walk to the main neighborhood that accesses the water, would recommend to drive though as there is a busy street you must cross. Nice place to stay for a weekend getaway. Kitchen has cooking supplies just bring spices.

Great Location

This location was perfect for our family. Plenty of space for us to visit. All of the bedrooms were very spacious. We were lucky enough to have great weather with beautiful sunsets. Very close to the golf course. Walking distance to trails around the bay.

Great views, but...

Pros: This property has great views of Doran Beach and Bodega Bay Harbor. It is located in a pretty neighborhood just off of Highway 1 and is within walking distance of a wetland. The house is spacious and has 3 bedrooms (and a Murphy Bed) as well as 3-1/2 baths. Cons: For a house this size, it is lacking in basic amenities and functionality. The water heater is located downstairs, and it takes 7+ minutes to get hot water in the kitchen. When someone showers, the water pressure in the rest of the house goes down to a trickle. There is light bedding on all of the beds and no extra bedding, blankets, etc. in any of the closets. The kitchen is minimally equipped, with a non-functioning built-in microwave. There is a countertop microwave, and an old countertop toaster oven, which smokes when heated. No functioning vent fan in the kitchen (it is part of the built-in microwave). There are two fireplaces, but neither is functional. There is a highly visible sign with the wi-fi password, but no binder or other information telling what wi-fi network to use. No hair dryers in the bathrooms. Communication from the host/property manager is inconsistent. One email said that the checkout time was 10 a.m., and another email said that it was 11:00. There was a problem with my credit card payment initially, and when I rectified the problem and paid, I received a confirmation that I had paid and then another later email asking for the payment.
