Gorgeous home in a great location. Beautiful views of the ocean! I would highly recommend this rental, easy to check in, easy to check out. Was a great experience.
Great modern house with stunning views, fantastic kitchen, and comfy beds. As one other review noted, one of the 3 bedrooms is an open loft space with a daybed that converts to a bed, with no noise or light protection. This was a bit tricky for us with young children, but if youâre traveling with folks who are aware of the dynamics, it shouldnât be an issue. Deck and hot tub were delightful!
My husband, I and our 2 grown sons stayed 5 nights. The house was clean and great for the most part. It was centrally located for all the places we visited. Loved the large deck but it rained quite a bit so we didnt get to use it as much as we would have liked. The hot tub was wonderful after long days of hiking. The washer and dryer were nice to have but could use a good cleaning. The kitchen was beautiful and very well stocked, could use more lighting. The King bed in the master (the description says Q) was very comfortable. Would have been nicer to have the ensuite but it was right outside the door. The other beds were ok but not the best for grown men. The loft has a nice pullout couch and the bunk beds in the other room have very thin mattresses, bottom one is almost on the floor so would be great for young kids. The only other complaint is the floors creak when you walk on them so its hard to be quiet for the person sleeping in the loft. It was fun to hear the seals barking from the island you can see from the living room. Our sons hiked both the trails in the neighborhood and said it was worth the trip. Locally, we ate at The Boathouse, The Birds Cafe, Spud Point Crab Co and The Tides. Would highly recommend all of them. Places we recommend to see:Bodega Head Doran BeachArmstrong Redwoods State Natural ReservePoint Reyes Lighthouse, Chimney Rock, South BeachMammoth Rock and Sunset Boulders (hike down, it's worth it)Goat Rock Beach
Beautiful deck and gorgeous view from the deck. We really enjoyed the little gas fire-pit on the deck, it was just enough to take the chill off even though we had great weather. The umbrella was nice on the deck as well, it did get a little hot and sunny at one point too, so both things made the deck really enjoyable - the three of us spent a lot of time there and the furniture was comfy too. The kitchen was well stocked and open to the family room. One thing you should know is the bedroom situation is a little unusual, although it worked for the three of us perfectly. The master bedroom with a very comfortable king bed, glass door to the deck, and awesome view (gorgeous to see the moonlight on the water) does not have an attached bathroom, but the bathroom right next door is very nice and it is close. The bedroom with double bunk beds has the ensuite bathroom. The third sleeping area is in a loft that is up a few stairs but basically open, so no privacy there. Not sure how it would work for more than one couple, but for the family of three of us it was perfect. Would defiantly stay again with our family of three.
We had a wonderful stay at this vacation home. The space was beautifully maintained, thoughtfully appointed, and perfectly suited for a relaxing getaway. The atmosphere struck a great balance of comfort and style, with every detail clearly considered. It felt both inviting and elevated, making our time there truly memorable. Highly recommend.
There are ocean views on three sides of this property. Even the en suite shower has a view! The property managers were ready, responsive, and friendly. Washer, dryer, dishwasher, water heater, barbecue grill and fire pit table all work great. We stayed three weeks and couldn't be more delighted.Funny story â â if you're sitting in the house with the sliding doors open, letting in the delightful ocean breezes, be sure your screen doors are fully closed and latched. The "masked bandit" (raccoon) is very opportunistic and literally scoped out the entire perimeter, trying each and every screen door, looking for a way to get inside and grab some snacks! He was very familiar with the place! There are does with fawns everywhere. Sea lions barking is a pleasing sound. Lots of birds chirping. Neighbors are amazing and friendly. The hiking is second to none. Lots of tide pools, sea urchins, dolphins & sea stars. The hot tub is excellent, especially while looking at the Milky Way. Lots to do & relaxing! The Research Institute is a hidden gem. The farmers markets must be seen for amazing fresh local produce. Oliver's in Sebastopol is best for meats and steaks. Get fresh seafood at The Tides. And their clam chowder is the best. Picked wild blackberries and wild strawberries in the forest.
Loved the location! Beautiful views and lots of wildlife if thats your jam. We had deer, raccoons, birds, rabbits and even a skunk come visit us on the deck over the space of a week.
