We did not go to the pool, the breakfast they offer was not good at all they send you across the street to the restaurant with vouchers to receive oats, brain muffin and croissant fruit and milk for the oats. They call it the continental breakfast, I have had far better at less expensive hotels. The room is pricy so I imagine they factor in that breakfast. I would rather pay less for the room with no continental breakfast. I felt as this hotel was very over priced for the offerings. On a positive note the front desk and hotel staff were pleasant and very friendly.

The bed was very hard and difficult for both of us to get a good nights sleep. The #1 thing every hotel should have is a comfortable mattress, as the point is to have a comfortable place to sleep. Without that basic need filled there is no point in staying at that particular property.

The heat and the TV did not work and the bath supplies had not been replenished before our stay. We had to look up the telephone number on our phone to call the front desk because they don't give it to you even though they tell you to call it when these things go wrong. This is not a quality stay for the price they are charging.

This hotel is a great retreat for a weekend away. We escaped for a holiday away and this was a great hotel choice. We relaxed and enjoyed cozy time with a fireplace and a stunning view. Bed was comfy. Bathroom was a touch outdated but the water was quite warm and the toiletries were great. Parking was super easy. It was a quick walk to the pool and hot tub. The hot tub was perfect on a foggy afternoon. The pool was frigid, but a warmer day it would have been perfection. Having a restaurant on property for our holiday dinner was also a nice bonus. They gave us a free bottle of wine so we brought it home for friends since we don't drink. Having the fridge was a nice feature also because we grabbed some snacks and were able to have an indoor picnic lunch with treats we kept in the fridge.
