The Brackens commands breathtaking views over the Malltraeth Estuary. Huge windows in every room make the most of this coastal eco-friendly three-bedroom home. Featuring a rewilded garden that reaches down to the coastal footpath and estuary, perfect for nature lovers.

The magnificent open-plan living area features a double-height, cathedral-style ceiling and floor-to-ceiling windows that offer sublime views of the estuary and mountains. The stylish interior is minimally but comfortably furnished, creating a perfect space to curl up on the sofa with your morning coffee and enjoy the natural light and lovely views. Two steps up from the living area, you'll find a dining table for six guests and a fully equipped kitchen with an island/breakfast bar. Tucked away to the side of the living space is a TV snug with a sliding door, ideal for cosy movie nights or a quiet space for kids to play while adults enjoy dinner. A mezzanine area above the living space doubles as a study and a quiet reading nook with views to the front and back of the house.

The Brackens offers three ground-floor bedrooms, making it ideal for guests who have difficulty with stairs and for families with toddlers. The principal bedroom and the second bedroom both feature king-size beds, while the third bedroom has twin beds. There are two family bathrooms, one with a walk-in shower and the other with both a bath and a large walk-in shower. Both bathrooms are equipped with sinks, heated towel rails, and toilets. A separate guest toilet is located next to the utility area.

The rewilded garden at The Brackens is a haven for wildlife. A lawned area at the side of the property includes a den area amongst the trees at the back of the house provides a space for imaginative adventures. A patio wraps around the entire house, offering space for dining or relaxing while listening to the sounds of nature and the waves. A little path winds through the garden. Please note, parents will need to supervise children in the garden due to the unfenced pond.
There is ample enclosed parking for four cars.

Fantastic Home from Home

Not only is the location prime with that unbelievable view but the house is warm, comfortable and has all amenities needed for a home from home stay. Enclosed garden so letting the dog and kids run around securely was brill. If you have any issues, let the Anglesey Lettings team know and they respond in minutes.

Beautiful views

Lovely well equipped property in a very quiet and peaceful setting. Views are stunning and the house is very comfortable. Sainsbury’s delivery worked well and kitchen is very well equipped for keen cooks. Appliances are of excellent quality but the oven could do with a professional clean. Down sides: we found that the blinds in the bedrooms didn’t block out morning light so we woke early every day. Not a problem in March but could be during the summer. Visit to Anglesey salt was interesting and we enjoyed meals at The Oyster Catcher in Rhosneigr.

Fantastic Holiday Stay With Family

Booked over a new year period just before returning back to work with Family. Fantastic stay and property delivered above expectations in size and relaxation it offered. Family had a great time exploring local area and beach walks across the area. The area and views from the property are stunning. And have highly recommended the property to others. We stayed at The Brackens for 5 nights over Christmas. It was a wonderful property, with views that we never tired of looking at. The house was clean, spacious, comfortable and in a great location. The kitchen was very well equipped and with plenty of space to cook a big, festive dinner.All of the towells and bed linens were of very good quality and the beds were very comfortable. The garden at the back was a wonderful place for our dogs to explore. In the evenings we sat outside in the peace and quiet, watching the stars.We can highly recommend a stay at The Brackens.

Post New Year Relax

Outstanding contemporary property filled with interesting books, home furniture that gives a well travelled family home. Everything you could need in the property for cooking etc.. Quiet location with outstanding views across the estuary, birds, sunrises, along with sunsets. Little village shop for essentials , Great welcoming pub, by staff and locals alike- dog friendly too. Excellent walks from the door if you happy to explore and not afraid of putting the miles in!! Newborough , Abberfraw and Llanddywn Island all discovererd on foot from the property. Slight issue with heating/water pressure resolved in 3 hours of advising. Rebooked before we left. Thank You

Chilled and refreshed

The Brackens is a gem of a house both inside and out , the inside furnishings offer comfort and little nooks to chill and relax in. The outside offers a wild space that blends with the further environment offering different areas to sit and relax and to take in the changing views .If you want a house that will help you unwind , relax and leave for home feeling refreshed then the Brackens is the house for you . We loved it so much we rebooked for next year ,thank you Angelsey Lettings for a wonderful house and excellent customer service .

Beautiful setting

What a gorgeous house, as soon as you walk in the views are breathtaking. I could stay in the lounge looking at the view all day. As a Bird Nerd, the amount of birds and wildlife that can be seen on the Estuary is fantastic and we even saw some rarer birds I’d never seen before! The house is wonderfully laid out and as a couple with a parent each visiting, it was well equipped with enough bathrooms - with water pressure (!) and bedrooms to ensure we were all comfortable. We were able to utilise the living space with plenty of room for dinners and games in the evenings as Anglesey is rather quiet in February. We had pretty terrible weather all week but still got out and about with lots of lovely beach walks and a wander through some of the towns. Plenty of takeaways within 15 mins, we had fish and chips which we picked up ourselves one evening, didn’t try any local pubs or restaurants. As others have said, the garden is ‘wild’ and full of rabbits so ensure your dogs have good recall or you’ll never see them again, perhaps the only thing my dog is good at, thank goodness! Access down to the estuary is brilliant and we only wish we’d had some better weather so we could drink out morning coffees outside listening to the birds! The only areas I would suggest for improvement is the pillows (flat as a pancake) and all the pans, the non stick seems to have failed and everything just turns to glue in them. We are already planning our next trip!

Beautiful views

We had a lovely stay at the Brackens the location is spectacular, peaceful and relaxing. My only suggestion would be that the outdoor furniture could do with replacing. It is rather well worn with the screws falling out and not comfortable to sit on and take in the view..we used our beach chairs instead!!

Lovely Anglesey location

The property was lovely, although the fridge veg draw had been left dirty. We were left some nice food items. Comfortable accommodation. The accommodation states dog friendly, but there is a notice in property to say they are only allowed in main area. If we had known this before booking, we would not have chosen this place.

Stunning house with views to match

The house is well equipped, warm and spacious, but the main event is the view. We had pretty dreadful weather but could still have just sat and looked out of the window for a week. Anglesey is great - easy to get around, beautiful beaches and good walks. Anglesey Lettings very helpful

Beautiful property with beautiful views

Lovely peaceful place with fabulous views over the garden. Very well equipped and immaculately clean. Ann observation would be that it was on the chilly side in the living area with no instructions as to how to increase the heating! ( it was a November stay!). We will be back!!

This house is beautiful and the views are stunning . This was a return visit for us all and the children just love the freedom they have here . Playing in the gardens and walking by the estuary . The house has everything you need for a comfortable stay . Communication before and if required during your stay is also very good . You will not be disappointed, We are just confirming our next trip

The view is outstanding and it was so nice to be able to walk to the bottom of the garden and onto the beach. The house is spacious and makes good use of the views. There were a couple of small issues such as the garden is definitely not secure for dogs, the bedding isn’t the most comfortable, poor water pressure in the shower. Overall it’s a lovely house to enjoy the changing view

Lovely Stay

The location and views are stunning. The accommodation is of high standard. The garden however was a little unkept and was over run with rabbits which wasn’t ideal with two Labradors. In the end we couldn’t let them out without being out with them so not quite the relaxing stay we’d hope for and as a dog friendly accommodation I think this should be mentioned. That said beautiful property.

This is a fabulous holiday house. Amazing setting and views. The house is very spacious and in the most part well equipped (only criticism could do with a few more glasses!). We loved the out door shower after a swim in the estuary. We will definitely book again! Anglesey holiday lettings communication was good and send really useful info about the property and Anglesey activities prior to our visit.

Weeks stay in anglesey

Beautiful location, well presented house and well equipped kitchen. Garden was secure but the dogs were driven crazy by all the bunnies and small dogs would be able to escape the gates. Definitely considering another stay and miss the view of the estuary. We did find the temperature too high - we are from Buxton so used to around 17•C rather than 22•C heated homes

Spot on !

Great property. Great location. Already planning our return visit. The only negative regarding the whole week was that food outlets in Angelsey seem to hibernate ( not surprising, I suppose ). Our trip in November saw us struggle to find decent food, or open outlets, and had us visiting Waitrose for supplies rather than eating out. That, of course, is an Angelsey thing not The Brackens, which was splendid.
