This is an old and tired apartment. The location of the apartment is 5 stars and it does have an elevator, but the condition of the apartment leaves much to be desired. AC is only in the bedroom. This did not cause a problem during our stay since the weather was not too hot. Some of the flooring has been replaced, but the larger rooms had older parquet flooring that was very loud when you walked over it. The kitchen cooktop ignition was broken, so you had to use a butane lighter to light the burners. There is lots of electrical maintenance that needs to be done in the bathroom. The lights at the sink did not work. The washing machine could not be used because the 2 appliance outlets near it did not work. While we enjoyed our stay in Bologna, this apartment was a disappointment.

Fabulous location, large and comfortable apartment

We greatly enjoyed our 3 night stay here. The location is terrific, just steps from Piazza Maggiore, the main square, with lots of activity, shops, and great food. We didn't spend too much time in the apartment as we were exploring Bologna but it was comfortable. The apartment itself is quite large and the a/c in the bedroom was really appreciated. The building entrance is beautiful. Thank goodness for the tiny elevator as the stairs were steep. The only downside was that we couldn't figure out the washing machine even after asking for help so we just gave up the idea of doing laundry and did some hand washing.
