Lovely apartment in Bologna city center, a few steps away from the Two Towers and Piazza Maggiore.
The apartment is located on the ground floor of a building in a central street of Bologna, characterized by the famous arcades that run throughout the city.
Perfect for couples, the accommodation consists of a single open space furnished in a modern style, where a small step divides the kitchen equipped with comforts, such as the microwave and the coffee machine, from the sleeping area with a queen size bed and a bathroom with shower.
*Please be informed that the city center is a limited-traffic zone, therefore we suggest leaving the car in one of the parkings and enjoying the old town on foot.
*Upon arrival or a few days before arrival it may be required to pay a tourist tax, which varies according to local regulations. You will find your reservation details within the Guest Area of Wonderful Italy.
Bologna is a city of art, culture and trade. The capital of Emilia-Romagna is also known as âDottaâ (erudite), being the oldest university of the West, as âGrassaâ (fat) for its gastronomic delights and âRossaâ (red) for the colors characterizing its old town. Its soul is in the medieval old town, one of the biggest in Europe, dotted in taverns, workshops and theaters, characterized by almost 40 km of porticoes. In the city center there is Piazza Maggiore, where the charm of medieval buildings is perfectly combined with modernity. Not to be missed are the Fountain of Neptune by Giambologna and the Medieval Towers, âTorre degli Asinelliâ and âTorre della Garisendaâ, part of a rich cultural heritage preserved in several museums, art galleries and religious buildings. It is allowed to leave Bologna only after having tried its gastronomic products, among which mortadella, tortellini, ragĂč alla bolognese while sipping famous DOC wines from the Bologna hills! Rich in exhibitions, fairs and cultural events, Bologna can surprise you in every season.
Around 3 km from the apartment there is the central train station while the airport is 20 minutes away by car.
We loved the location of the apartment! It's a decent walk away from the touristy area of the Quadrilatero, and felt like we were truly living amongst the locals.
Some things to note are that the space is pretty small compared to what we imagined from the images that were posted. The only space to completely unfold most small to medium sized suitcases is in the living room space just as you enter the room.
